Originally, it was an early Christian three-nave basilica, later transformed into a Gothic structure, and eventually became an interesting monument of provincial Baroque. On the main altar is a silver reliquary of Saint Simeon (Sveti Šime) from the year 1380. The chest is a highly valuable piece of goldsmith’s work, commissioned by the Hungarian-Croatian Queen Elizabeth for the relics of Saint Simeon. Tout juste magnifique, il est normal de respecter ce lieu avec une tenue vestiaire correcte, ceci n'est pas un lieu touristique !!! Mais un lieu de culte sacré pour les habitants de Zadar. Il est normal de refouler tous ceux qui cherchent un endroit de détente sortant de la plage, merci de RESPECTER...
