A wonderful little island for those who like walking cycling or running. Not much more than 11k circumference with a well signed path network leading to a beach on the opposite side of the island from the port, an old fortress above the main lopud town and old churches between both. Some of the paths are no morevthan rocky animal trails whilst others are paved. For those who are less able to get around a golf cart service can take you from.the port to the beach. There are no cars on Lopud. The main port has a host of local restaurants, a lovely artisan bakery, art shops and hotels with a regular ferry to Dubrovnik and other islands. Would highly recommend a visit or a stay on Lopud.
