We were returning guests. Some kind staff on reception but the place has been run down. We encountered so many problems. No cleaning, no towels, no toilet paper, no bedding change, bins not emptied, black mould on shower spray, on the walls, other marks on the walls, curtains and bedding, smell of sewage from bathroom, blocked bathroom sink and shower, faulty air conditioning unit, worn and limited kitchen equipment, fridge and freezer turned off on arrival, limited facilities open (4 bars and restaurants not 7), no ice cream :-(, often no pool towels, bins full of rubbish everywhere, the sunbeds on the beach were never moved or cleaned so you did it yourself and then paid for the experience. and the worst thing....rubbish on the beach including plastics, fruit ,cigarette packets and condoms.I made sure management were informed and with photographs but they did not clean until the following day. Spent a lot of time raising issues at reception. Management do not care, they attitude is there will be more tourists. Staff numbers are down, trying to run the resort on a shoe string but charge high prices. Here are a few photos. Aminess you should be ashamed, this is not 4 star and you should care for all your customers better.

Do not fall for the resorts promises about restaurants, bars, sunbeds, cleaningness. They are so seriously understaffed that bars open at 10am, poolbar opens at 11am. There is no way to have a coffee before 10am, except if you brew it yourself. Restaurants that are opened are also understaffed, minimum waiting time to get the drink is at least 20 minutes. Impossible to buy ice cream inside the resort. Luckily there is a shopping place close by. As for the accomodations, they should be renewed. Constant smell of canalisation is present in bathrooms. Kitchen equipment is poor. Appartment for 5 people offers really minimum dishes. One pan and one pot. Kitchen utensils hardly exist. Pool staff doesnt care about happenings in the surrounding area. Sunbeds outside pool are all reserved before 6am and usually People that make reservations dont come to the beach before afternoon. Same story with sunbeds around the pool. Hotel has a policy that reservations are not allowed, but no one takes care of it. Instead they are browsing their facebooks and Instagrams. People stand in line for sunbeds since 8am, make a reservation and then leave. Sometimes they return to use them, and sometimes they dont. Staff doesnt care and does not remove reservations that are against their owm policy. Problems also with towel service. Usually they cant change them, they always have an excuse ready on why the fresh towels are not available. Pool area is dirty, no available trashcans. Small feet cleaning pool is an area to be avoided. Water changed only once a day should be running water tgrough all day. As a concequence entrance is always full of mud. Pool surrounding area is cleaned once a week. It should be cleaned every day. Water in salt water pool is dirty. Despite all mentioned, there is one thing about this resort that makes me happy. Nice enough resort overall with good location, good pools and beach front. Easy to walk to the old town. Accommodation was pretty poor. Not updated in years apart from bathroom. Self catering is difficult with the tiny and limited kitchen appliances and equipment. Cars parked all over the place not ideal with kids.

Wir haben im Juli 5 Nächte im Aminess Port 9 Residence mit unseren zwei Kindern verbracht. Grundsätzlich hätte das Resort sehr viel Potenzial: Die Lage ist schön, die Uferpromenade lädt zum Spazieren ein, und die Bucht ist traumhaft. Leider war unser Aufenthalt insgesamt enttäuschend – vor allem aufgrund der Unterkunft und des Services. Unser Apartment war bei Ankunft schmutzig: Blutflecken auf der Bettwäsche, dreckige Böden in Dusche und WC, die Bettkante war mit einer etwa 1 cm dicken Staubschicht überzogen, Spinnweben hingen von den Wänden. Der Kühlschrank war ungeputzt, mit Flecken und kaputter Flaschenhalterung. Zudem hatten wir Ameisen im Zimmer, ein sichtbarer Spalt zwischen Außenwand und Türrahmen sowie eine herausgerissene Steckdose (siehe Bilder). Der Gärtner war zwar täglich mit Heckenschere oder Laubbläser aktiv, aber der herumliegende Müll im angrenzenden Wäldchen blieb tagelang liegen – obwohl eine Mülltonne direkt danebenstand. Die „Punto Mare“ Bar hätte eigentlich Potenzial, aber der Service war schlicht überfordert: Man wartet über eine halbe Stunde, bis man überhaupt eine Karte bekommt, dann wieder aufs Bestellen, dann aufs Zahlen – man muss dem Kellner regelrecht nachlaufen. Und obwohl am Abend viel los war, schließt die Küche bereits um 17 Uhr – völlig unverständlich. Auch andere Gäste, mit denen wir gesprochen haben, berichteten von ähnlichen Erfahrungen. Beim Auschecken an der Rezeption wurde unsere Beschwerde nur zur Kenntnis genommen, aber ohne jegliche Entschuldigung oder Interesse, wie unser Aufenthalt war. Für ein Resort in dieser Lage, in Kroatien und auf der schönen Insel Korčula, ist das Aminess Port 9 leider kein Aushängeschild. Sehr schade – wir hatten uns deutlich mehr erwartet.

Vrhunski smještaj na top lokaciji. Čisto, pristupačno sa dosta dječjeg sadržaja. Cijelo osoblje je za pohvalu. Obično mijenjamo svake godine lokaciju ali ovaj put ćemo učiniti iznimku i dogodine se sigurno vratiti.

EDNO GOLEMO BRAVO!!! Docek, priem, smestuvanje , apartman, organizacija za vozrazni - posebno golema blagodarnost do deckite od Aminess Mini Club… Edna mala zabeleska , iako imavme uplateno 7 nokji a ni se sedeshe ushte , “shefot” nemozese da ni najde smestuvanje uste 3-4 nokji da go zaokruzime ova nashe uzivanje! Kad sam dosao u sobu bilo je jako prljavo i neuredno kao da sam u svojoj sobi, nebi vise ponovio ovo a jedino sta je dobro je bilo mjesto gdje je smjesteno, ne preporucujem!!

The houses are in perfect codition (2 bathrooms, AC...). The kitchen in the establishment is good, you can eat whatever you want. You are 100m from the beach but the pools are a bit dull. But however its really really good. Would recomend!

The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely respectful. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, and the Mediterranean-style dishes were both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. However, the beach experience left something to be desired. Guests from various backgrounds were carelessly leaving cigarette butts on pebbles, which really took away from the otherwise high-quality atmosphere. I believe the hotel should be more attentive and proactive about keeping the beach clean. Without proper oversight, this beautiful setting risks being spoiled by the negligence of a few.
