They refused to take reservation over the phone because 'there are always free tables', but once we got there, of course there were no free tables, so birthday drink ruined. Also did not even read mail reservation 7 days prior.

To enjoy the view you have to consume something at the café. The prices are reasonable though. We had matcha latte which was very good. Milk alternatives are also available and even cheaper than normal milk.

If I could rate this lower than 1 Star, I would. The view is lovely, however it is overshadowed by many other drawbacks. The prices are far too steep for what you get. It seems in this regard that the owner is taking advantage of customers because they know people will pay the price so they can enjoy the view. As if the prices weren't bad enough, the staff are all very rude. I wouldn't mind if this came down to a language barrier, but the staff will treat customers with contempt and be generally rude. As others have said I would recommend everyone else to go up to see the view, but not to purchase anything and get a drink from elsewhere. This experience was when it was hardly busy at all so I dread to think how bad the staff are when it is busy. As a sidenote, the people of this city are on the whole very nice and welcomeing to tourists, please do not allow one significantly below par café to give you a bad idea about the city on the whole.
