We had a wonderful day in the Nuretva Valley with Matilda. She’s so enthusiastic and fun to be with. She loved sharing all her knowledge about this beautiful region where she grew up. It’s a hidden gem that is less touristy so we felt fortunate to discover it. I highly recommend this tour and any tour with Magnificent Croatia!

Matilda made our trip extra special. From the fresh strawberries and Rakija to start our boat tour on the lakes, to the amazing lunch we had to top of our day, it was all incredible! We saw wild life and beautiful scenery on the lakes and learned about the area. It was such a nice addition while in the way to Dubrovnik. We could not recommend this tour and Matilda enough. She also recommended a great winery to stop at on the rest of journey to Dubrovnik. It was absolutely fantastic. Thank you!!

Croatia is magnificent especially when you have Matilda planning your trip. Our 12-day adventure took us from the charming wineries in Plešivica to the white-water rafting and beautiful beaches in Split to the rich history of Dubrovnik. It was a once-in-a-lifetime, unforgettable experience. Matilda met with us via Zoom to understand our preferences for accommodations and sightseeing. She then crafted an itinerary with recommendations which we refined together. She orchestrated every detail beautifully, from boutique hotels with decadent breakfasts to uniquely guided city and food tours, ensuring the perfect mix of culture, relaxation, and adventure. She handled all the details from transfers, hotels, private tours, transportation throughout Croatia and Slovenia, including restaurant suggestions. All we had to do was book our airline reservations and show up. Matilda and our personal driver, Mate, were available throughout our trip to answer any questions. Mate wasn’t just our driver—he was an essential part of the experience, navigating narrow streets with ease, keeping us entertained with music and singalongs, and introducing us to some of his favorite local restaurants. We fell in love with Croatia, and Matilda and Mate made it even more special.
