a new Georgian restaurant in Ljubljana. tried an assortment of cold and warm dishes, including khachapuri. the food was just ok. the dishes with chicken weren't good because chicken breast was used and it was all dry and tasteless. pity, because the sauces in which the chicken was served were interesting (walnut and hazelnut sauces). the khachapuri was tasty, but should be baked longer as it seemed slightly underbaked. service was polite, but slow. would try this place in the summer when the grill dishes are available. expected more out of this place. pity, as it would be a nice change in food options in the city.

Tiflis was an unexpected stop for us and a wonderful experience. Several options on the menu, we had never tried Georgian food, so we tried a couple items. Everything was very savory with good portion size. We did not leave hungry. We originally ordered the only beer in the menu. After two beers, the waiter offered a Georgian beer that wasn’t on the menu. Tiflis was such a comfortable, cozy, and unique experience only to be topped when the owner greeted us to ensure we enjoyed our visit. He was genuinely interested in feedback & provided insight as to plans for the upcoming warmer months (2nd floor outside seating). Would definitely recommend Tiflis if you are in the area.

The food is good but not brilliant. I've been to Georgia for 3 weeks and had way better food there. The Katchapuri and Kinkali are good, but the garlic Chicken was dry as a bone. The service wasnt great, some mains came an hour later, leaving guests without food. The vegetarian pizza came with salami, when pointed out they returned the same pizza with the salami peeled off(!) We never got half the drinks, but tried to charge us for them (including a whole bottle of wine that never arrived) There was live piano music, that was nice.

Newish Georgian restaurant located near city center of Ljubljana. Indoor seating and looks like also an outdoor terrace in the summer. Food offers mostly Georgian dishes. Also Georgian wine, which I highly recommend. Plenty of indoor seating, so reservations probably not needed. Dogs welcome inside. Some street parking directly in front of the restaurant. Service could be a little better, but the overall experience was great, highly recommend.

You know that feeling then you are a student and you come home for weekend and your Mom feeds you like you haven't eaten for a week? This is how you eat here. Forget your diet. And the atmosphere is also very "domestic", not at all proffessional, I think the whole crew are one family. You don't get a feeling that you are in a real restaurant, more like your Mom's kitchen... Georgia is a country of strong hard working people and their food reflects that: very strong, but no nonsence, very tasty, with a tasty choice of just the right spices. Don't let low prices make you think that you get small snacks for your money. Every dish is potent enough to keep you up for the whole day. Our meal was only 32 Euros including drinks and we were STUFFED. This place makes Ljubljana one step further to being one of the World's cities: another culture, another corner of the world, found right here, in the heart of Europe ... I recommend. It reminds me of my Mom's kitchen ... God bless her soul ...
