Price/Value ratio very bad. We barely had anything and ended up with a huge bill. Felt ripped off. Had a huge dinner including drinks elsewhere the same day for similar price that was worth the money. Staff nice but wouldn’t go again.

The food was SUPERB. My husband and i ordered chicken kebabs and the meat sausages in the bread thing. The sausages were the best sausages we have ever tasted/eaten. We also ordered alcohol free cocktails, the only two there and they were both really good as well. We definitely recommend! The atmosphere was great as well. There was a lady who would karaoke most of the time. She sung good and pleasantly. The waiters were really nice! Our first waiter was really nice. She was conversational and knew several languages! (Croatian, greek, and english). Our second waiter was nice and helpful as well. He gave me an extra knife when i dropped mine by accident. They also have this cute treasure box where they give you your check! Also, for dessert we recommend the boiled apple :D as you can see in the pictures, my husband really enjoyed the food!

Lovely Bosnian cuisine - I had the cevap which was meat heavy (to be expected). You’d get food of that quality for much cheaper in Bosnia, but you’re in Dubrovnik so expect to pay higher prices!

Had a great meal here while in Dubrovnik. Services food and atmosphere were all excellent. We had the cevapi, cigars and one of the samplers of stews. If we go back to the area, we will def be back to Taj Majal. It was not a tourist spot. Multiple locals told us to go here and they go regularly.

Die Ćevape waren mit Abstand die besten, die ich je gegessen habe, selbst in Bosnien habe ich keine besseren bekommen. Perfekt gewürzt, saftig, hochwertiges Fleisch - absolut traumhaft! Auch der Rest des Essens war top: frisch, aromatisch, mit Liebe zubereitet. Der Service war außergewöhnlich herzlich, aufmerksam und sympathisch! So etwas erlebt man selten, vor allem in einer Touristenstadt wie Dubrovnik. Die Preise sind für Dubrovnik normal, aber hier bekommt man echte Qualität, bei der jeder Cent gerechtfertigt ist. Wir kommen definitiv wieder, denn dieses Restaurant ist ein echtes Highlight! 💯❤️

Spectacular restaurant, would recommend to anyone coming to Dubrovnik! There was live music, our server was so knowledgeable on Bosnian traditional dishes, and they went above and beyond for our honeymoon dinner. They even served us a lovely traditional dessert liquor for our honeymoon ☺️ I really can't express what a phenomenal restaurant this is and the detailed service they provide! Thank you Taj Mahal and hopefully we will come back to see you in the future!

Delicious, wonderful experience! Food is divine; amazing, delicious flavours - ordered a beautiful slow cooked beef vegetable dish, spinach pie, delicious bread with cheese, salad and baklava with prunes for dessert. Just so delicious - this restaurant makes traditional Bosnian cuisine. Highly recommended. Staff very helpful and professional. Go here when in Dubrovnik, you will love it, the best.

Our fave meal in croatia, even when compared to the Michelin starred restaurant that we went to on our trip. There’s live music on the weekends. Please note that we are rating the location outside of the old town. It is about 1.5 miles from the old town. We have NOT tried the one inside the old town.

We tried the Traditional Experience (3 dishes) and here’s our take: (1) Hadžijski Ćevap: Absolutely delicious. The beef was well-cooked and full of flavour. Tip: order some bread on the side — it pairs perfectly. (2) Bosnian Meatballs: Unfortunately, this was a miss. It tasted more like something from IKEA than a traditional dish. The tomato sauce was overpowering and didn’t do the dish any favours. (3) Veal Pilaf: We really enjoyed this one — great texture and the veal was tender. We also tried the Ice Cream Baklava, and honestly, we’d give it a 2/10. As someone very familiar with high-quality baklava, this just didn’t hit the mark. We had two sodas as well. 💰 Total: €75 📍Compared to the overall food quality we’ve experienced in Croatia, this place was actually quite good.

Wir sind hervorragend von Zoran bedient worden. Das Essen war traumhaft. Der Service nicht zu toppen. Der Hauswein, s.w. der Haselnussschnapps sind absolut empfehlenswert. Das Ambiente ist anders als im der Altstadt, jedoch sehr schön. Kommen gerne wieder.
