Gutes und bodenständiges slowenisches Essen beim ersten Besuch (4/5), leider nicht ganz so gut beim zweiten Besuch. Die Portionengrösse der Vorspeise (Struklji) war auf einmal deutlich kleiner und die Pasta mit Trüffel leider geschmacklich nicht so überragend. Die Fuzi kenne ich andernorts selbstgemacht oder zumindest gut eingekauft, hier waren diese leider einfach Standard-Nudeln. Der Trüffel war gut und reichlich, aber die sehr viele Petersilie stand in grosser Konkurrenz dazu und auch etwas Cremigkeit (es waren nur Nudeln, Trüffel, Petersilie) hätte dem Gericht gut getan. Wer also Lust auf Pasta mit Trüffeln hat, sollte ich anderswo umschauen oder am besten am Streetfoodmarkt Freitags den entsprechenden Stand aufsuchen. Dort ist das gleiche Gericht eine eine Offenbarung. PS: Reservationsafragen per Formular auf der Website werden nicht beantwortet. Schade. Aber ich komme wieder und werde nächstes mal etwas anderes probieren.

Poor hospitality. Came in with my wife on New Years day to have a drink. After taking a seat the waiter nonchalantly told us that this place is a restaurant, meaning they only serve drinks with food. After asking him if it’s not possible to get drinks only he hesitantly said we can get drinks if we insist. My wife and I decided to get up and leave instead. We would have never expected such poor service in a place like this. We were very disappointed.

Really good food, tasty and with that homemade feeling. Portions are relatively large, big enough to fill even the hungriest patron, but not too big to waste much food. Two leaner persons can easily share one portion.

Food passable, poor service. Locals are not required to show Corona pass; foreigners are (which I have, fully vaccinated, no prob). Dry sausage, dry pudding, dry wine —that at least was good!

Les serveurs sont très sympas et l'ambiance de ce restaurant est appréciable. Cependant, nous avons été déçus du repas. Les prix sont assez élevés mais les plats ne sont pas à la hauteur du prix payé. Peut-être avons-nous mal choisi nos plats ? Nous avons également attendu que nous nous proposions un dessert, en vain. Nous sommes donc partis sans manger de dessert.

We want to this place yesterday based on a friend recommendation it was amazing I have tried the chicken fillet with mushroom sauce and the veal lever is a must order you can't visit this place and don't order this!!! Meal were delightful and portions were good I really recommend this restaurant for meat lovers!

We were taken here as a treat by a friend on our trip through Lubljanja to the Triglav National forest.The atmosphere is quite hip, but the menu is all fresh takes on traditional cuisine, with a few surprises dotted in. From the delicious alpine cheese board and pate to the splendid venison served on pureed pumpkin with a cottage cheese strudel, the food was delightful! They even offer a lovely, crisp fried chicken served with rich mashed potatoes enriched by pork-fat cracklings. It was a wonderful lunch to fuel both our city tour and the rest of our drive into the Julian Alps. I sincerely hope that we have the opportunity to come back someday.
