If you want authentic great Slovenian food this is one of the best places. We had venison, pork, beef goulash soup, roasted pork plate and liver cooked in reduction of onions and red wine. Every meat was fall apart tender and juicy full of flavor! Even the roasted creamy potatoes was delicious. Everything was cooked in lard or butter!!! We also enjoyed a recommended sweet wine and there butter cooked pancake with sweet and tart oven roasted apple sauce so simple yet simply delicious. Make reservations at least 1 day ahead.

Nice place close to the city center. Reservations are recommended, otherwise you may have to wait a little to get a table, the place is often crowded during holidays and weekends. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast! Tasty local food and nice portions. Prices are in line with the city center's average.

Just perfect! I was really in a hurry and the service was incredibly fast. I told the waiter when arriving, I was quite worried about it but really not disappointed ! The waiter was very friendly and also gave me great recommendations for drinks and food. I also had a tasty garlic butter with the bread ☺️. I got all the food and drinks in like 15 minutes I was so happy, I could really take the time to appreciate the food. I strongly recommend!

The experience for me here was awesome. It is laid back kinda place, nothing too fancy but clean, welcoming and designed with style. A place to get a proper and original meal for a fair price. The service was excellent as there were 8 of us and we all received our meals and drinks very fast. The staff managed to remember who ordered what, it was honestly an overall great experience. I tried fried pork with melted cheese and potato with “čvarci”, it was divine
