Byliśmy tu 01.07.2025 bardzo smaczne jedzenie. Zamówiliśmy krewetki przyszły olbrzymie, do tego pastę i cevapcici . Wszystko świeże i podane bardzo atrakcyjnie. Klimat też fajny a Pan Chorwat pomocny. Cenowo raczej $$$ ale płaci się za jakość więc można zrozumieć.

Dugo nas jedan restoran nije toliko oduševio... Od dolaska(osiguran parking), izbora vrhunske hrane(4 različita jela i svako super) do izuzetbo prpfesionalne i ljubazne posluge..... Sve to po normalnoj cijeni....

Świetna knajpka do której, mam nadzieję będziemy wracać w każde wakacje. Niesamowite porcje. Deska grillowanych mięs dała radę 3 dorosłym i 2 dzieci. Bardzo miła obsługa ❤️ Nie zastanawiać się jeśli będziecie w pobliżu!

Ovaj restoran zaista zaslužuje sve pohvale! Hrana je vrhunska – kvaliteta mesa odmah je uočljiva, sočno, savršeno pripremljeno i servirano s pažnjom. Osoblje je izuzetno ljubazno, profesionalno i uslužno, što dodatno doprinosi ugodnoj atmosferi. Topla preporuka svima koji žele uživati u vrhunskom gastronomskom doživljaju. Definitivno mjesto kojem ću se rado vratiti!

We were immediately greeted and taken to a table. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered drink and our dinner. The wait for our food was fairly short considering the other people that were there. We ordered a margarita pizza. We also then ordered “pancakes” however, they were more like crepes. Very good either way. We felt very welcome and enjoyed our experience there.

EDIT: Wow, no words. Expect a response filled with lies to disregard the customers honest review for bad food. Avoid the place if you can. I rarely write reviews, but when i do, its when something really deserves it (either good or bad). Today sadly was the latter. I am not sure if was bad timing, or we were just unlucky (considering the rest of the reviews), but here goes the (long) honest story. You can skip to the last paragraph for a recap. We are in Zadar for 10 days and we usually treat ourselves for one or two lunches or dinners during the trip (we have a 10m old and a 4y/o which makes it challenging) and therefore we are also prepared to pay more to escape the usual croatian beachfront offerings for cheap. Based on the good reviews here we decided to go for lunch in Moonlight. We were quite early at 12:30 and very much starving, and once we ordered we were the only guests in the restaurant and we were greeted nicely by the waiter. We decided to go for a rumpsteak with egg and fries + a fish plate for 1 person along with a salad and two “gemišt” wine spritzers and a juice for our daughter. Then came the first warning - the salad; mixed salad with tomatoes, cucumber and rocket arrived, but the rocket salad was already on the wilted side and parts of it were already off. We returned it and asked for tomatoes only. Then after quite a bit of a wait arrived the mains. I asked for a medium done rumpsteak, it arrived very well done. Actually it arrived more like “congratulations” than well done. I did not ask for a replacement after mentioning it to the waiter, because we were starving after having waited for almost 40 minutes (we were the only guests!). It arrived with a sad egg on it and on a bed of that same wilted rocket salad, grilled pepper and some ajvar. Also a very small portion of fries. The meat was of course very dry since it was on the grill too long and even with oilve oil to help the dryness I could not finish the steak once i ran out of fries. My wifes mixed fish plate arrived with a fillet of seabass, a small tuna steak, one shrimp and a bit of octopus tentacle with a side dish of potatoes with chard. This is the part where I do not understand how these things can happen; everything was super salty (to the point of not edible), the shrimp was visibly overgrilled and sucked out of any moisture and the octopus tentacle was so hard it did not even bend when lifted - hard as a stick. They both visually looked like they were from the previous day, along with the shrimp ... or that they were forgotten on the grill. She managed to finish the seabass, a tiny bit of tuna and half the shrimp and the rest was left - we were not asked why when the dishes were taken. It is entirely our fault we did not return the food immediately of course, but starving as we were and with a 8 months old struggling to stay awake at the table we struggled on with the food just not to leave starving. I went to take care of the bill and i told everything regarding our dissapointment to the waiter... and the response was - that the other guests are happy and that he is sorry we felt like this. Nothing else. No discount or anything to remedy the experience. After seeing the bill I only had one regret - not taking the pictures of the food because i imagine not a lot of people would believe my words because the other reviews look a direct opposite and were the primary reason we chose this restaurant. The food would be priced kinda on the expensive side but still okay if it was good quality (23 for the steak and 28 for the fish plate), however the thing that stands out is that 2dcl of apple juice costs 4 euros and that 2 wine spritzers are 9 euros - which just leaves an even more bitter feeling. Anyway, this experience for two cost 70 euros which is actually not that cheap (for two, as the kids actually did not eat anything) and now one hour after i am writing this hungry and bitter. For those not reading the whole essay - a quick TL;DR; any decent quality restaurant would have never let this food leave the kitchen, period.

I ate in this restaurant for a few years, every time i come back the food is on the same high standard, the hosts hospitability is exquisite, if you are looking for the best atmosphere, food and your resident “go to” restaurant in Petrcane. MOON is your choice🫶🏻

Opinia pisana na gorąco od razu po wizycie. Niestety mimo tak wielu pozytywnych opinii bardzo zawiodłem się otrzymanym jedzeniem. Zamówiliśmy talerz owoców morza dla 2 osób. Zaczynając od kalmara, który był suchy i nieoczyszczony poprawnie. Kolejno mule były wysuszone na wiór i bardziej przypominały w wyglądzie orzechy włoskie. Stek z tuńczyka był ewentualnie zjadliwy, lecz zbyt słony i suchy. Filet z okonia był ok. Pochwalić mogę jedynie blitwę i frytki - co moim zdaniem jest o wiele za mało jak na wybrane danie. Nie wiem czy źle trafiłem tego dnia, ale ja niestety po tej wizycie nie jestem w stanie polecić tego miejsca. 😢 (PS klimat na 2 gwiazdki za nieustającą chmurę fajek w powietrzu...)

Nie polecam, lepiej pojsz do restauracji które są obok. Okropne jedzenie: talerz mięs dla 2 osób, przesmażony, suchy, słony. Kalmara nie dało się pogryźć, bardzo gumowaty. Drinki rozwodnione.

Wir waren aufgrund der extrem guten Bewertungen im Restaurant Moon. Sind dafür extra in den Ort gefahren, statt wie ursprünglich geplant nach Zadar. Ich war leider enttäuscht, das Restaurant ist durchschnittlich. Der Service war recht gleichgültig und langsam. Das Lokal ist in die Jahre gekommen, Atmosphäre dementsprechend. Das Essen war ok, aber hat uns jetzt nicht so vom Hocker gerissen wie die Vorrezensenten. Wir hatten Cevap, Pizza Cheesebomb, Pizza Margarita und Spaghetti Bolognese. Der Mojito war leider wirklich nicht lecker. Die Hauptzutat Limette hat gefehlt, dazu ein Schnaps mit starkem Eigengeschmack, den ich nicht identifizieren konnte und zur frischen Minze wurde warum auch immer getrocknete Minze gemischt. Alles in allem ok, aber jetzt nichts Besonderes, sorry, da haben wir an den anderen Tagen besser gegessen.

The food and the service was beyond excellent. We ordered the tuna Steak, the meat platter for 2 and green tagliatelle with shrimp and everything tasted amazing. The meat platter was delicious and really big. I would definitely come and eat here again.
