Smješten u povijesnom podrumu starom više od 300 godina, Lanterna se ponosi svojom toplom atmosferom, naglašavajući originalne cigle koje stvaraju autentičan interijer.

Inspirirani starom kuharicom iz 1854. godine koju smo pronašli u Muzeju grada Zagreba, naši kuhari kombiniraju klasične recepte s modernim sastojcima kako bi stvorili jela koja odražavaju bogatu lokalnu tradiciju. Naša misija je omogućiti gostima da uživaju u svakom zalogaju, a time ne zaboravljamo ni na svežinu - svi naši sastojci dolaze direktno od kumica s poznate zagrebačke tržnice Dolac, svaki jutro.

Restoranın atmosferi çok hoş. Yemekler de gayet lezzetliydi. Yalnızca tatlılardan "imza tatlısı" hayal kırıklığı oldu. Sommelier'in seçtiğimiz yemeklere göre önerdiği şaraplardan seçtiğimiz şarap efsaneydi. Çok güzel ilgilendiler. Güzel bir deneyimdi. Teşekkür ederiz.

Didn’t think much of this place. The waiters seemed to look down their noses at us as we arrived. The place was nearly empty but they asked if we had a reservation and looked unimpressed that we hadn’t. They offered the “terrace” out the front, by the road. We accepted and tried to order Merlot (from the menu) and tap water. They had no Merlot so offered local wine instead and wouldn’t allow us to order tap water! Inoffensive cover music was playing which was generally quite bad. The food was quite expensive and very small portions. I ordered lamb shank which was the smallest I’ve ever seen, overdone and with the odd bit you could break a tooth on. My wife had stuffed pasta which was very small. The glasses of wine we were recommended were very small and the waiters felt insincere and supercilious throughout. They sent a very junior member of staff to us most of the time who looked like a young pot washer. The more senior chap shouted ‘lady, lady’ as my wife tried to leave, calling her back and pressing a Christmas decoration into her hand! I don’t know why he couldn’t give it to me - it felt a bit sexist. They said they were a top ten restaurant here! We walked past twice in the next hour or two and on both occasions saw three empty tables inside! It felt like we’d been profiled by our hippy clothes as we entered and found wanting.

This little restaurant finds itself in the heart of the old town, was served by a duo of garçons that make the ambiance feel like that out of a book. The lamb was so beautiful i had to pace back and forth in the street after taking a bite. The lamb was so beautiful it reminded me of being born. The lamb felt like making eye contact with a beautiful woman. Their wine had me thinking about the beauty of life i swear it opened my third eye. great place, people and atmosphere. Lanterna na Dolcu has been our favorite restaurant in Zagreb, and all of Croatia. We went here for the first time when we moved to Zagreb about a year ago. Tomislav greeted us warmly and welcomed us to Zagreb. We have been back quite a few times in the last year and we are always treated as good friends by both Tomislav and his brother Ivan. When someone comes to visit, this is where we bring them for dinner. The food is amazing (Lanterna pljukanci with beef fillet and truffles is my favorite!) and the wine selections and recommendations have always been great. The Zagorske štrukle as an appetizer and the Lanterna štrukle for dessert are delicious! To Tomislav and Ivan: Živjeli prijatelji!

Had a wonderful meal here on a first visit to Zagreb. It's not on one of the "restaurant streets" but the food and wine are delicious and authentic at this local family-owned place. The service was impeccable and the servers were very knowledgeable about wine. We went with a bottle of medium-bodied Croatian red made with local grapes (plavac mali) that turned out to be amazing. Very rich spicy nose and a well-balanced mouth feel. Our dishes were also quite delicious. I went with the local pasta with beef filet and truffle sauce and my friend went with a beef steak. We also had the charcuterie plate to start. The truffle salami was to die for. With a bottle of wine, two mains, a charcuterie plate, a side and a salad, the total came to €130 for two people. On top of it, we got seated in the cellar which was a 300 year old cave with a vaulted brick ceiling. The ambience was very cozy. Highly recommend!

Predivan Ambient - odise "grickom vjesticom". Jelo decentno servirano na rucno radenom tanjuru ( ako imate reklamaciju za hranu, tanjur dobivate kao nadoknadu 😊 ). Konobar pravi ZG stih ponasanja i pristuanja gostu. Uvijek rado i ponovno kad budem u Zagrebu.

Wonderful experience. The staff was very knowledgeable and there is a good history to the place. Great atmosphere and a fantastic wine selection. They even brew their own beer. We thoroughly enjoyed the beef cheeks and shrimp risotto.
