We ate here with our 2 young children (aged 2 and 4). The restaurant is stunning, they were very accomodating with the children, the food was divine. The best meal we had all holiday whilst traveling around Croatia! You must go!

Konoba Turan is the place in Jelsa to taste the famous damlatian Peka, meat or fish with potatoes, vegetables and herbs long-cooked inside a kind of iron pot under embers. This and other traditional damlatian and hvar delicatessen in a cozy green terrace with one of the kindest staff you can encounter. Try it! Edit: After the original review I have often returned to dine at Turan and the quality and service remain excellent, always welcomed with cordiality in a familiar and quiet environment in the magnificent 'green terrace' among trees and plants... you can't help but come back. In addition to the famous Peka I also recommend trying the fresh grilled fish (excellent) or the meat options such as the local "Pasticada" of Hvar. See you again soon Arbunić family and Turan staff!

Restauracja typowa „pod Niemca”. Jeśli jesteś innej narodowości to najlepiej zjedz szybko, zapłać i wyjdź, bo już czekają kolejni a stolików na tarasie mało. Jedzenie nas nie urzekło. Klimat nawet ok, gdyby nie ugryzienia mrówek, których w okolicy naszego stolika było bardzo dużo. Już nie wrócę.

Es gibt nichts besseres hier in der Nähe, unter einem Zitronenbaum oder Mandarinenbaum im Schatten sitzen, freundliche herzliche Bedienung, faire Preise und das wichtigste: Super Qualität, das Essen, die Peka, absolut genial. Wir kommen schon seit Jahren immer wieder gerne. 👍👍🥂🍷🍻👍

Suchst du eine urige, romantische Konoba abseits vom Touristentrubel? Dann spaziere in Jelsa durch die kleinen, engen Gassen leicht bergauf zur Konoba "TURAN". Die Steinstiege führt dich auf die Terrasse und du findest Platz unter Weinlaub und dem Mandarinenbaum. Marina's Familie und ihr Team bereiten mit viel Liebe kroatische, kulinarische Köstlichkeiten zu. Man fühlt sich wohl und es schmeckt einfach ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen gerne wieder. GüSi

Super Konoba bisschen abseits vom Trubel ca. 5 Minuten von der Promenade entfernt, Fischplatte für 2 Personen war sensationell lecker und die Fleischplattte war auch sehr gut, alles auf den offenen Grill zubereitet 😍 Chefin kann Englisch, Italienisch und Deutsch. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert.
