We had lunch there on a Monday. The restaurant is in the middle of the old town and had a few tables of outside seating in the pedestrian area. Our table was not covered by a sun shade, unfortunately. The menu offered a good mix of both Slovenian specialties and more common "international" dishes. I had the Zlikrofi with local prosciutto and they were pretty good. Service was a bit slow though and we had to wait a good while before being allowed to pay. Overall a pretty good experience, though - and it appeared to be one of the better options in the old town. When strolling through the alleys, we didn't see a place that looked more appealing to us.

Vielleicht hat das Restaurant heute nur einen schlechten Tag gehabt. Aber Essen und Service entsprachen in keiner Weise den sonst guten Bewertungen. Nach 50 Minuten haben wir unser wirklich nicht anspruchsvolles Essen bekommen: Slowenische Klöße mit Käse sowie gefüllte Nudeln (Art Ravioli) mit Steinpilzen und Speck. Beide Gerichte erhielten wir nur lauwarm. Die Ravioli waren völlig verklumpt. Völlig geschmacklos. Gegessen haben wir davon die Hälfte. Mehr ging nicht. Wir haben das Essen reklamiert. Leider habe es keinerlei Reaktion. Ich kann das Restaurant definitiv nicht empfehlen.

Odličan mali restoran u starom dijelu Ljubljane. Izabrao sam ga zbog dobre ponude domaćih slovenačkih jela i nisam pogriješio. Osoblje ljubazno, usluga brza, atmosfera u bašti restorana prijatna. Jela spremljena na domaćinskih način, a cijene prihvatljive.

Jeli smo biftek, bio je jedan od boljih kojega sam jela zadnje vrijeme. Preko njega je bio prefini umak od gljiva, a drugi je bio sa također finim tartufima. Uz to sam dobila štrukle koje su odlično pasale, te također bile jako ukusne. Za desert obavezno probajte štrudlu od jabuka uz koju dobijete kuglicu sladoleda. 😄

Simplesmente incrível. A atmosfera, o atendimento e os pratos estavam perfeitos! Comemos o Bife com cogumelos e massa recheada de queijo e o Gnocchi de Tartufo. O bife estava um pouco duro (característica do corte), mas no ponto perfeito. O Gnocchi, por outro lado, figura entre os melhores pratos da viagem! O vinho recomendado pelo garçom também estava excelente.

I was unable to go to Julija's for dinner as I did not have a reservation. Having read very positive reviews, I decided to go the next day for lunch and it was absolutely worth it. Excellent local cuisine (also with vegetarian options), very friendly staff, reasonable price. Lived up to expectations and beyond.
