Amazing tasty Slovenian food with outstanding customer service. We tried the sharing plater and a traditional dessert. If the restaurant is full when you arrive wait around for a few minutes...well worth the wait. Highly recommend!

Goed eten ( wij lunchten met daily offers), goede prijs, snelle bediening! Wel wat verlegen personeel waardoor ze soms zonder iets te zeggen/je aankijken je eten neer zetten, maar once you dig in, it's alle forgotten. Yum!!

Great food! Nice portions and fairly cheap. Tour guides and hostel members always recommend second violin... So everyone knows about it. Hence there can sometimes be a long wait time to be serviced. If you want to avoid long wait times, best time to go Is during the afternoon. Be patient with the staff, they are constantly moving around because of how busy it is. The wait time is well worth it though. The menu changes every day, and they have a schedule up to a few weeks that tell you what is in store.

I read so many good reviews about this place, so was obvious, that we’ll dine there. Place was busy for Monday night, but we’ve got a table almost right away. Even when waitress told us that we have to wait at least 15 minutes. Food arrived fast, but was’t tasty at all. Mash potato was super cold, veal was chewy and stringy. We also ordered glass of red wine, which was very warm (way too warm for a red wine). Only dumplings and gnocchi were good quality. I don’t think we’ll eat there again.

This place blew me away. It has a wide menu along with a daily menu that changes every day. The prices are extremely fair for its location in the city. The quality of the food was just excellent. We shared three Slovene dishes and I have to say that none disappointed. It's an all around great value. Above all, the owner has venerably provided opportunities to a differently abled portion of the staff. It's a restaurant of great virtue that satisfies the stomach, wallet, and heart.

Ate and drank for a family of 4 for £35 on the daily lunch menu and my lasagne was tasty. Great location. Friendly staff. Recommended for a cheap eat.
