This is one of the most important landmarks in Serbia. All of the icons and interior are done with mosaics several million pieces call Ma I've travelled to many places I've never seen something so impressive. historically it is the mausoleum of the Serbian royal family. The surrounding park and Forest is beautiful and a wonderful place to wind down

I am visiting Serbia after 28 years and wanted to see this church because my father celebrates Saint George but the lady at the church door stopped me and asked if I have paid the admission of 600 dinars. I didn’t know there was entrance fee so I asked the rude lady if she could just let me see the icon located in the middle of the church. She said NO she said pay 600 dinners then you can checked the icon… very disappointed! I am a Christian woman and all I wanted to do is pay my respect to the church and I would have made a generous contribution to the church as I love Jesus. I could not believe what happened. We have visited so many monasteries throughout Serbia and Montenegro but this was the only one you had to pay to see it. For the future reference this policy needs be changed because it is very disrespectful. Thank you for reading. May God be with you all.

Predivna priroda, predivni ljudi. Vredi obici. U tom hramu je vencan Aleksandar Karadjordjevic. Manistir postoji jos od 13 .veka i na zalost radi probadanja ne radi nekih 160 godina. . Ceo manastir je pod zastitom drzave. U plau je rekonstrukcija i stakleni krov,direktna povezabost sa Bogom. Kada sam isla dosao je Princ Mihajlo sa svojom suprugom Princezom Jelenom i dve cetkice. Toliko su ljubazni i predivni ljudi. Takofje mestani koji odrzavaju manastir koliko mogu su nas ugostili da nemam reci. Toliko toplinre i dobrote u tim ljudima. Da ih Gospod Bog cuva, i da ostanu uvek tako plemenitog srca. Oni su iz Goraca,kao i manastir. Predivno je bilo sve.
