A must see for visitors to Zagreb! Exhibitions feel endless ( in a good way! ) with so many historical artifacts, story lines, and ever archeological digs on sight. One issue is that most items do not have English translations, but most of the more important items do. Still well worth it 👍

Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι ότι στις επιγραφές των εκθεμάτων δεν είχε αγγλική μετάφραση. Είχε μόνο περιγραφές σε κάθε δωμάτιο στην αγγλική γλώσσα. Αλλά παρόλο αυτά,αξίζει.

Si vous veniez comme nous dans une démarche d'en apprendre plus sur l'histoire de la ville, à moins de maîtriser la langue croate vous serez probablement déçu. Rien n'est traduit ce qui rend rapidement le musée ennuyeux, dommage car les expositions semblaient intéressantes. Même si le musée ne coûte que 5€ je ne le recommanderais pas.

Very interesting museum about the history of zagreb. Most explanations in english, deutsch and croatian (here also written in braille, for blind people). wifi, so you may translate the others.

Small museum dedicated to the history of Zagreb. The museum features statues from the cathedral and the church and has lots of info on how Zagreb came to be. Recommend getting there early as it’s much quieter.

They’ve managed to capture over 900 years of Zagreb’s history in this impressive museum. At first, you might wonder if the €5 entry fee is worth it—but as you walk through the seemingly endless rooms, it quickly becomes clear that it’s more than worth the price. If you want to explore the exhibits in detail, plan to spend at least a few hours here. Be sure to bring a fully charged phone-having the Google Translate app handy is useful, as many of the exhibit descriptions are written in Croatian. We found the modern history section particularly interesting and less well-known. The museum is closed on Mondays.

This is a wonderful museum, much bigger than you would expect. Has lots of information going back all the way to 1000 BC up to modern times. I especially enjoyed the exhibit on women's fashion and how it related to sports in the early to mid 1900s.
