We visited the museum along with the house of flowers. It was interesting, especially the long building with the timeline of artifacts and information. This was the first museum I visited in Belgrade so it was a good introduction to the former Yugoslavia, and Mr. Tito.

The Museum of Yugoslavia offers a fascinating insight into the history, culture, and politics of the former country. It's a must-visit for those interested in the region’s past, especially the Tito era. The exhibits are well-curated, and the outdoor area with Tito’s mausoleum (House of Flowers) adds to the experience. Some parts could use more English translations, but overall, it’s a thought-provoking and unique museum in Belgrade.

To be honest, it was much smaller and plainer than I expected. But it's still worth seeing. And the staff is very helpful.

Apparently there is an old and new museum. Signage really only pointed us to the old so we didn’t even realize there was another building to visit. The old museum has lots of interesting items but without deep knowledge of the history of the Balkans and Yugoslavia, it’s difficult to understand the context of what you’re looking at and why it’s in a museum. Do research prior to visiting so that Tito’s items have some meaning
