It's an archelogical museum that covers Slovenia from prehistoric to end of middle age. Very good display of artefacts with interesting information displayed in English. I learnt a lot. It's a shame to have to do 2 museums to get the full history of the country

Museo piccolo ma ben organizzato e ricco di opere interessanti. Suddiviso tra Museo di Scienze Naturali e Museo Storico. Nella parte storica sono conservati veramente dei pezzi molto belli. Merita una visita

Big and beautiful museum. I entered with a student discount only paying 6€ and I had access to both the natural museum and the national museum. It is full of beautiful samples and interactive activities perfect for kids and adults. I loved the memory I spent 20 minutes playing and it was so fun.

Although small, this museum is a jewel. Beautiful collection both of archeological and natural history specimens. Carefully displayed an documented in Slovenian and in English. We enjoyed it very much.
