I was in Ljubljana due to a short train layover. At first I was quite hesitant to try this place, because when I walked by I thought that this is another fake taco shop owned by gringos. However the loud music tempted me and I convinced myself to try one taco due to my limited time. The cashier called me awkward under her breath for not ordering a drink, which kinda annoyed me but after I got the food I forgot about it. The taco I got was very, very good. Incredibly tasty, and exactly how it's supposed to be. Probably the best "restaurant taco" I ate in Europe. I instantly regretted ordering only one, but I needed to run to catch my train. Excellent. 200% recommended. The only criticism I have is that their "very hot" salsa (mayita) is not hot at all (although really tasty as well). Maybe they adjusted the spiciness for white people but I think they should have at least one actual hot salsa option. Nevertheless, very good!

I had the three taco combo. I got carnitas and they were amazing! I haven't have amazing Mexican food since moving to Europe from California two years ago! So this place was such a great surprise! I would 100% come back to Ljubljana just to eat here again! They also have daily specials that you can find on their Instagram at Elpatronslovenia I highly recommend checking those out! And highly recommend this restaurant!

This place deserves 10 stars! BEST TACOS in Europe for sure and I am Mexican living in EU for many years. It was an absolute surprise finding this spot which tasted just like home. Thank you so much to the owners and chefs for the warm welcome and for bringing México to Slovenia. I will come back for sure!

Probably the only place in a 1000km radius that you can get REAL tacos. They even gave me a little cilantro to go, which I can never find anywhere. Great Spot 💯

Very uncomfortable place to stay. Very loud music inside. The tacos were pretty disappointing. Beef and chicken was pretty dry and tasteless. Vegan taco was hot but lacked any other taste.
