Kindergarten HORIZONS

At Kindergarten HORIZONS, we are committed to nurturing the potential of every child while appreciating who they are in the present. Our goal is to provide high-quality education and childcare to children from diverse backgrounds, including international, diplomatic, and Croatian communities in Zagreb.

Our Mission

We strive to create a warm, secure, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. We believe in fostering emotional, intellectual, and social development through a child-centered curriculum designed to make learning enjoyable and engaging.

Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum accommodates children from various nationalities and backgrounds, emphasizing individual attention to promote each child's natural curiosity. We prioritize a fun learning atmosphere that nurtures creativity and exploration.

Parental Communication

We recognize parents as the first educators and value their insights. Regular communication is essential; thus, we encourage parents to schedule meetings with the Principal, Kindergarten Pedagogue, and teachers. Tools such as folders and home/school books facilitate daily communication.

Supporting Transition

Beginning kindergarten can be a challenging transition. We support children and their families during this period, ensuring a smooth adjustment. It's natural for some children to experience separation anxiety, which we address with compassion and understanding.

Extracurricular Activities

Kindergarten HORIZONS offers a variety of engaging extracurricular activities, including Pilates, Dance, Music, and Art classes. Our spacious outdoor playground provides ample opportunities for fun and active play, especially on sunny days, enhancing the overall experience for our students.
