Another classic cathedral that looks understated on the outside but breathtaking on the inside. I happened to wander past but wasn't sure if it was open. Tried to door and thankfully it was. Stepped in and was greeted by a stunning ceiling and the most wonderful adornments. It's surprisingly large and I found it was mostly empty for the entire time I was there. I sat in there for about 45 mins taking it all in. Only a couple of small tour groups came in. Luckily the guides are very respectful and shushed anyone in their group getting too noisy. Was one of the highlights of my stay in the old town.
