We had a lovely week at "A little gem". The house is very cute and looks just like the pictures. The garden is really big and has different insects and animals, which were very fun to see. There's also a lot of different (fruit) tree's, which made it even better. The house had everything we needed, the kitchen is perfect and the bathroom was great too. The bed was a bit too hard for us, as was the couch, but we spend most days in the garden loungers relaxing, so it was okay. The house is in a very nice area with 2 groceries stores, a bus stop (we came without a car), restaurants and close to a beach for swimming. The road towards the house is pretty steep and pretty exhausting when the temperature is 30°; but we got used to it. You can still hear the traffic at the house, which we didn't expect at first, but it's not that loud and the crickets around the house distract you from it. Overall I recommend this house if you're looking for a calm vacation close to Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik itself is so busy during Summer, it was a blessing coming "home" to this house and just enjoying the calm.
