Puteus hotel is one of the best hotels you can find in dalmacia. Hidden from busy cities, close to a beautiful harbor. It has world class service and food. On top level. Their garden is picture perfect. And in their hotel there is a feeling like you are sleeping Ina castle. Perfect to enjoy Brac and hide yourself behind walls and enjoy luxorious service.

This is the best hotel we’ve stayed in for a long time, simply incredible in every way! The staff are so lovely, can’t do enough for you, their friendliness and efficiency creates a wonderful atmosphere! The Palace itself is stunning and the courtyard, gardens and pool are absolutely stunning! The restaurant food is also incredible, hard to beat, we enjoyed every single meal! The best hotel on Brač for anyone seeking a truly special accommodation experience in a luxuriously restored palace. The palace itself dates back to the 15th century and has been carefully renovated and exquisitely decorated. The hotel pays close attention to every detail—from the comfortable, clean, and beautifully furnished rooms to the elegant restaurant and stunning garden. What stands out most is the hotel’s exceptional location, right on the seafront in a charming setting. The on-site restaurant is outstanding, and the lush, meticulously maintained garden adds both charm and a unique character to the property. The gardener is a true artist. Every detail is thoughtfully curated, offering personalized service for each guest, a peaceful and private atmosphere, an impeccably clean pool, and beautiful amenities. The enchanting "garden of paradise" left a lasting impression on me. I will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone in search of a genuine retreat in a magnificent historic palace. The experience is far more memorable and special than at other 5-star hotels along the Croatian coast.

First the good stuff. This is a beautiful hotel, with lovely gardens, and all built from that gorgeous gleaming white Brac stone which dazzles in the sunshine. It sits bang next to the harbour, and everything is within walking distance. Pucisca itself is a delight. |Breakfasts are superb, taken on the terrace in our case, and with a fantastic selection of yummy stuff - part waitress service for eggy things, part a buffet groaning with goodies in the elegant downstairs restaurant. |The staff are one and all polite and welcoming and will go out of their way to help and accommodate your needs. There's also a very useful parking spot right opposite the entrance. |Two things only impacted our experience negatively. One - which the hotel is not responsible for - are the bells which clang out from the church right next to the hotel. The clanging is certainly picturesque, but you have to ask yourself if that's OK for you at 6 am when they start with a two-minute wake-up peal, clanging every hour from then on and ending at midnight. For me, a light sleeper, it was a problem. Others will take a different view. But the bells won't be going away anytime soon. The hotel did try their very best by putting us in a room which was as far from the campanile as possible, but maybe I'm just too light a sleeper because it made little difference. |The other issue - again very subjective - is the music which is pumped put of speakers all over the gardens and the swimming pool area. The volume is not too loud, but the music is (almost) always there, usually a relentless cacophony of love songs which I found disturbed the peace and quiet and bird chatter and all the other good stuff that you naturally find in such a lovely garden. I wish they'd just turn it off. I did ask - and they did, briefly, at breakfast, but sure enough it wasn't too long before it was back. To me this non-stop background noise cheapens the hotel and makes it feel more of a resort rather than what it truly is and, more to the point, what it could so easily be - an oasis of delight to soothe and restore the soul.

Posjetili smo hotel Puteus u Pučišćima za vrijeme obiteljskog okupljanja u nedjelju (krstitke za oko 60 ljudi), a iskustvo je, nažalost, bilo izrazito negativno. Prvo, moram pohvaliti samu lokaciju i okoliš hotela – zaista prekrasno mjesto s puno potencijala. Međutim, sve ostalo bilo je ispod svake razine očekivanja za ovakvu lokaciju. Osoblje, uključujući i vlasnicu, pokazalo je krajnji nemar prema gostima. Atmosfera je bila vrlo neugodna, gotovo kao da smo im smetali. Osjećali smo se kao da moramo biti sretni što smo uopće tamo, bez ikakve pažnje prema našim potrebama. Hrana? Katastrofa! Juha i serviranje juhe strašno, rižoti ispod svake razine, sir i pršut da ih je bolje ne spominjati, a porcije toliko male da se nitko nije mogao najesti. Kruh i led su bili prava rijetkost. Neki od nas su doslovno ostali gladni, a najeli smo se napokon tek iza 15 sati — i to kad smo donijeli svoje pečenje koje smo sami pekli(po dogovoru sa vlasnikom) Voditeljica ili vlasnica? Osorna, ljuta, bezobrazna — doživjeli smo je kao osobu kojoj je ugostiteljstvo samo teret, a gosti smetnja. Ako vam se ne da raditi s ljudima, toplo preporučam da razmislite o nekoj drugoj djelatnosti, jer ovo je bilo jedno od najneugodnijih iskustava u životu. Sve u svemu — prekrasna lokacija, ali osoblje i hrana su na poražavajuće niskoj razini. Ne bih preporučio nikome tko želi uživati u hrani, usluzi i osnovnom gostoprimstvu.

Wonderful hotel in a very pretty setting. We had a huge room on the "ground" floor (reception level) although yu have to go up some stairs to get there. It included a large sitting area and a large bathroom, although the actual bed area was small. It was very comfortable and everything worked well apart from the air conditioning, which was freezing cold the first night and nothing the staff could do the next day could make it adjustable, so they turned it off. This was fine as it was not particularly hot weather. The breakfast spread was totally wonderful - so many things to choose from and so few people to eat it! Some of the time we were there we were the only ones staying, but still there was this huge breakfast spread!||The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were sweet and kind and efficient - all you could possibly want from a hotel apart from a few more people staying!||Pucisca is a very small, pretty village with very little to do. We were glad we weren't staying longer or we would not have known how to entertain ourselves. Boat trips arrive here from elsewhere but there are no trips out to go on.

18:20||Profil||Juni 2025||Wir bekamen ein Zimmer direkt neben dem Kirchen- Turm vielleicht 10m entfernt. Die Kirchenglocken läuten stündlich. Man hat das Gefühl die Glocken seien im Zimmer Nr. 9.||Weiter ist der WLAN Pointer direkt im Kopfbereich des Bettes installiert. Da ist das schlafen auch wenn man müde ist unmöglich!||Daher fragten wir am anderen Tag für ein anderes Zimmer was nicht so exponiert ist.||Leider war das nicht möglich. Also haben wir nach einer Nacht aus gecheckt obwohl wir für||3 Nächte inklusive Frühstück bezahlt haben.||Auf eine Reduktion oder Gutschrift für die weiteren unzumutbaren Nächten bekamen wir die Antwort, es sei nicht möglich da wir über eine Buchungsplattform gebucht haben und wir sollen uns dort melden. Dies haben wir getan. Die Plattform nahm Kontakt mit dem Hotel auf ob eine Rückvergütung möglich sei.||Die Antwort vom Hotel kam prompt. Sie hätten sich bemüht uns zu helfen. Was aber überhaupt nicht stimmt! Auch behauptet das Hotel, dass wir das Nachtessen nicht bezahlen wollten und auch die Taxen für die eine Nacht nicht.||Dass ein Hotelmanagement mit derartigen Lügen sich bei der Buchungsplattform rechtfertigt ist für ein 5 Stern Hotel schon erstaunlich!

They really went the extra mile to ensure we had an amazing time. The breakfast was also delicious, as was as, the dinners we had. Thank you again for a great stay! We can’t wait to come back
