We wholeheartedly want to recommend this hotel to everyone. Everything here exceeded our expectations - from the warm welcome at the reception to the impeccable cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any request. The location is perfect: close to all the main attractions, yet quiet enough for a relaxing stay. The breakfast is delicious and varied, with fresh products and options for every taste. The atmosphere of the hotel makes you feel at home, and every detail is thought out for the comfort of guests. P. S. Ana Cvitanović we can’t tell you how much we appreciate all your help - especially after our trip turned upside down when the car broke down. You really made a difficult situation so much easier for us, and we’re very grateful for your kindness and support!! 😌

Bra läge, rent och städat, många aktiviteter på och runt hotellet.|Fin inredning och trevlig personal.|Det negativa var att det inte finns tillräckligt med solstolar runt poolen och kl 08 var alla solsängar reserverade men inga var där trots att de inte får reserveras.|Otroligt mycket folk på gågatan mot hamnen och det blev mer slalom mellan människor än att njuta av strand och shopping.|I hamnen var det väldigt mysigt, flera bra restauranger, rent och trevligt.

We recently returned from a fantastic week at Places in Makarska. On arrival we received a warm welcome from reception who were friendly and helpful and explained the flexi half board option which we found worked well for us during our stay. You have an electronic wristband which is your room key (game changer not having to remember the key every time you leave the room or find it in the bottom of the beach bag when returning to the room). The wristband is also loaded with the full balance for your stay 25 euro per person per day. You can choose to spend it on lunch, dinner, or drinks. If the balance has been used up, then you can still tap the wristband at the bar to charge drinks to your room to save carrying cash or cards. This was a great concept, and it worked seamlessly. There is a hotel app that you can check your balance on and if you sign up to the loyalty scheme you can also get an extra 6 euro to spend!| |Rooms in the hotel all have a sea view, the beds were big and really comfy with nice bedding, and you can request anti-allergy or orthopaedic pillows if you need. The bathrooms are small with just a shower and toilet, but we found this was fine – the sink was in the room which we quite liked. There is a fridge in the room to keep your drinks cool, and a hairdryer and pool towels are provided. Not loads of hanging space but plenty of shelves. The cases and bags fit under the bed which was great as they were out of the way although they were very dusty when they came out – the rest of the room, hotel and everywhere we went in Croatia was clean and tidy! We did have a problem with the air con which maintenance looked at a couple of times, but reception moved us to another room on the same corridor to save us waiting for them to fix it. The hotel has 10 floors so you may want to request a lower floor if you don’t like heights!| |Communal areas - the two pools were nice – we liked the floating seats in the pools. Sunbeds were really comfy, although the policy is no reserving most were taken by 8am although just by towels not people! Did see one person complaining about this to staff and she demanded that they moved someone else’s towel so she could take a sun bed with the best view. In the case of no beds being available the staff did bring out extra beds so not really any issues. The hot tubs didn’t feel too clean when we went in towards the end of the day and also, they didn’t have steps to get in and out so it wasn’t a very graceful entry/exit on my part! We only used them once. The gym in the basement with fixed and free weights was small but good, there is also a spa where you can book treatments which we didn’t use and a steam room which was sadly out of order for the duration of our stay. There is also a fitness room upstairs with lots of bikes and equipment e.g kettlebells, slam balls etc where you can also do fitness classes daily. The games room next to reception was very good, pinball machines (chargeable) and free pool table (no cue chalk!) and ping pong tables. Also, a couple of PS5s but we didn’t see anyone use those. | |There is a “destination insider”, we saw two different staff members here – one gave us misinformation about how long it was to walk to a particular place, she wouldn’t give any information on anything local other than what she was selling excursions for. The other was more helpful but still very focused on selling excursions.| |The bar staff were good, nice cocktails. In the restaurant the food was fantastic at breakfast – you can make your own juice, have oysters and sparking wine, loads of healthy options as well as omelettes cooked to order. Would be good to provide some small milk jugs for tea to go with the tea pots. We also had lunch at the pool bar a couple of times which was good portion size and quality, and we had a pizza in the restaurant one lunch time which was good. For dinner you can have the buffet or a la carte. The buffet is 25euro regardless of how much you eat so the a la carte is better value if you just want a main course, also dinner closes at 9pm which includes the food being taken away on the buffet which we felt was quite early.| |Overall a great stay at this hotel, location is good next to the beach and you can walk along the front into town although it was very busy. Croatia is stunning we will come back.||Can

Just back from a 10 day stay .....don't know where to start the staff bend over backwards to help you always ultra freindly and male you feel welcome .|The hotel is so clean and spotless at all times our room was kept clean every day .|The rooms are a bit small but the hotel has amazing places to sit everywhere and relax . Had a su set room which did not disappoint. |The food was out of this world for us they catered every night for all tastes the.range of home cooked food on the buffet is the best we have had. Always a choice of fresh fish from bass to squid to bream and salt cod . All traditional creation food the flavours were so good .|You roll out of the front of the hotel straight onto the beach and yet another place to sit and be served with food and drinks .|Do not hesitate to book a stay here we are quite picky and could find nothing wrong amazing value for money

Lokacija fantasticna, sobe odlicne, osoblje prijatno i vrlo uslužno, posebno u restoranu Antonela, Linda i Darija. Na Pool baru uvijek nasmijani goste docekuju Nikola, Mija i Antun.Za F&B Manager Dragana imam samo komplimente odradjuje vrhunski posao. Zbog toga je hotel Places svake godine “ My place in the sun”.

Fint hotell men otrevlig personal. |Kvinna i receptionen kort blont hår, sitter och är bitter och säger knappt hej. Du frågar om plåster de kollar konstigt på dig. Blev biten av en geting dem ville inte ens erbjuda någon hjälp. Otrevliga städerskor. |Anton eller Artur en kille i baren med glasögon extremt otrevlig, dum förklarar kunder i baren flertal gånger istället för att servera.|Ingen service överhuvudtaget|Man får inte reservera platser men ändå är alla platser upptagna redan 07, och ingen där. |Åker absolut inte tillbaka hit. |Dem har 3 hissar med 10 våningar fyllda med rum, du får vänta på hissen minst 5 minuter. |Nej tack!!

Prezadovoljan sam bar kiperom! Neverovatno profesionalan, brz i ljubazan. Danasnja ekipa zna tačno šta rade (Nikola Matea i Antun) – kokteli su bili savršeno izbalansirani i servirani s osmehom. Pravi majstor svog zanata! Atmosfera u baru je odlična, ali upravo on podiže ceo doživljaj na viši nivo. Svaka čast, dolazim ponovo 🤩🤗

A great hotel with nice food and amenities. Only downside was A/C couldn't go below 23⁰ and the pool was quite cold. Other than that a very positive stay, and the food/drink credits and watch were fab!

Sehr schönes, modernes Hotel in perfekter Lage! Die Zimmer sind stilvoll eingerichtet, der Außenbereich ist sauber, gepflegt und bietet eine tolle Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Besonders der Blick auf das beeindruckende Biokovo-Gebirge und ein Meerblick der sich sehen lässt macht den Aufenthalt einzigartig. Das Frühstück und Abendessen ist in sehr guten Händen – mit einem der Leiter, Marino, und den Top-Kellnern, besonders Antonela, ist man bestens betreut. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Design, Komfort und mediterranes Flair suchen.
