We were moved from the island for one night due to storms and possible lack of ferry. What a fantastic hotel. It’s so quiet and calm. Breakfast was a breeze just so calm. The room is amazing the bed is like two small doubles together. Grounds are amazing. No complaints we have considered going back here fir a short break

Im Großen und Ganzen ein sehr schönes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und komfortabel, und die Lage ist ideal – man kann bequem zu Fuß in die Altstadt spazieren, was den Aufenthalt besonders angenehm macht. Einen Punktabzug gibt es allerdings für die Situation am Pool: Es ist etwas lästig, dass man ständig ein Auge auf seine Liege haben muss, da das Personal sie sonst schnell abräumt – selbst wenn man sie nur kurz verlassen hat. Auch das Verhalten des Rezeptionspersonals trübt den Gesamteindruck etwas. Leider wirkten einige Mitarbeitende dort eher arrogant und vermittelten einem das Gefühl, nicht willkommen zu sein. Trotz dieser Kritikpunkte ist das Hotel insgesamt empfehlenswert – besonders wegen der schönen Zimmer und der hervorragenden Lage.

A fabulous looking hotel inside and out, with a very relaxed vibe. Super helpful staff. As others have said great sized modern rooms, Could I suggest 1 thing - pop an automatic light in the coffee cupboard! We dined in E restaurant a couple of times - great food, especially the tuna burger! Great selection available at breakfast, although trying to find a hot plate for hot food was a challenge. Overall we really enjoyed our stay ( especially my husband who received a lovely birthday cake from the hotel - thankyou!! )

Extremely disappointing experience. The hotel has a beautiful design, but that’s where the positives end. The team shows little interest in guest satisfaction, the management is inflexible, and there is a complete lack of loyalty toward returning guests. Requests are answered with generic template responses that have nothing to do with the actual question. The hotel shares its pool with a cheaper property from the same group next door, which turns mornings into chaotic battles for sunbeds. People are practically on top of each other. The beach is one of the worst we’ve seen in Croatia. Since it’s located in a bay, the water becomes murky, stagnant, and unpleasantly smelly during the summer. What’s worse, the beach is shared by guests from at least four different hotels, creating constant overcrowding and chaos. In general, while the hotel looks premium, it does not live up to its status or price point. Even within its own hotel group, there are far better options that actually deliver on their promises.

Mittlerweile ein bisschen ab gewohnt aber dennoch ein sehr gutes Hotel in dieser Region. Spezielles Frühstück ist ein Highlight. Das Service ist in Ordnung das Personal sehr freundlich die Wasserqualität top und wenn man eines der super tollen Betten bekommt, ist der Tag am Strand das Highlight

De kamer, het Japanse restaurant, personeel en de omgeving; fantastisch! Echter als je komt voor luxe en rust buiten het hotel, dus aan het zwembad/strand ben je hier niet op de juiste plek. Het buitenzwembad is vrij klein, niet alleen gasten van hotel Lone mogen er gebruik van maken, ook van het 4 sterren hotel ernaast. Het is behoorlijk druk rondom en in het zwembad, ook bij het strand, onder de bomen etc is het bomvol. Heel erg jammer, want voor de rest is het een perfect hotel. Echter de situatie buiten is voor ons echt een flinke afknapper en echt geen 5 sterren waard en/of deze kamerprijs. Wij boeken dit namelijk vanwege de mogelijkheid (rustig) te relaxen aan het zwembad/strand.

Vom ersten Augenblick an super schön, super nettes Team und tolle Organisation. Unser Zimmer wurde fabelhaft gereinigt, das Team an der Rezeption ist einfach nur nett und herzlich. Das Frühstück war top - von assiatisch angehauchten Gerichten bis zu einem Gläschen Sekt, frisches Obst, frische Eiergericht - Gemüse, Wurst und Käse sowieso... Kaffee wird serviert - ein Traum - Cappuccino, Coffee on Ice, Kännchen Kaffe .... einfach wunderschön! |Unsere Tochter ist 12 und hat sich total wohl gefühlt. Der Pool ist meines Erachtens eher etwas für Kleinkinder - sanfter Einstieg - super zum Plantschen. Wir haben nur glückliche Kinder (und Eltern :-) gesehen. Für etwas größerer Kinder, die Action mögen, ist es möglicherweise etwas zu fad - keine Rutschen u.ä. Für unsere Tochter war es aber perfekt, sie liest gern und schaut (unvermeidlich) Handy, aber für Action gibt es in 5minütigem Fussmarsch eine riesige Wasser-Hüftburg - die auch uns Eltern Spass gemacht hat. Rovinj ist perfekt in ca. 2o Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar - Tolles, wunderschön designtes Hotel - wir kommen definitiv wieder!

We visited this hotel twice, once in the spring and once in the summer. We were also in some other Maistra properties before.||A few things which are good about the hotel:||1. A phenomenal architecture and surroundings|2. Location, near the city but also near the forest, where you have peace|3. Options: You have an indoor and outdoor pool (with seawater), a beach, a rent-a-bike service, etc.|4. You have a garage option (although a bit pricey).|5. Most of the staff are excellent, primarily accommodating, and know how to receive feedback. The company has a good culture.||What is ok:||1. The rooms are ok for this type of hotel, but nothing special|2. The hotel features three restaurants and a café.|3. Cleanliness is ok and maintained well||What could be improved:||1. Breakfast is pretty basic, although they offered to make something we wanted from the menu|2. The other two restaurant situations are not much better. Main restaurants have only 10 dishes or so, and almost nothing specific to Istria. Very basic. On the floor, there is the Tekka hotel, which is a Japanese (!) 1 Michelin star restaurant in Rovinj, so if you don't like Japanese food, skip it.|3. They don't have any medications to offer, even for sunburn. We believe they should have a minimum.|4. The situation at the beach is not great at all. At 9.00, everyone had already put their towels on their sunbeds (summer Balkan Olympics). And if you do the same, and leave for some time, someone can remove them and use your sunbends. So even if you pay 500€ per night, you may stay out sunbathing and see what to do. We complained about that, but the hotel refuses to resolve this situation. They said the beach is public and anyone can come and do whatever they want.

A very large designer hotel 30 minute walk from the centre of Rovinj. We took a taxi a couple of times and that was 17 Euros each time. Our room had a lovely woodland view with the sea peeping through the trees. It had everything we needed, a great shower, comfortable bed, pleasant, private balcony although a few more plug sockets would have been handy. The pools were beautiful and surrounded by grass and trees where we relaxed on sun loungers in dappled sunshine. It was a short walk to the private beach where we enjoyed an afternoon drink each day in the beach bar. We were B&B and I would say that breakfast could take a bit of improving. There didn't seem to be enough space for everything, and the cooked breakfast didn't stay hot on the counter. A toasting facility would have been good too.|There was a violent storm on one of the evenings we were there which meant that restaurants in town were closed so there was quite a demand for room service and food from the bar. All the staff remained cheerful & helpful despite such unexpected demand. During our stay, the ladies on Guest Relations made restaurant bookings for us and changed them where needed. They were so pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay. The highlight for us was the woodland setting...beautiful!

At breakfast and dinner people are smoking 🚬 at the terrace and all the smoke draws inside! Disgusting, disgraceful for such a great hotel... 😥

Hotel koji je ispunio moja ocekivanja. Ljubazno osoblje na recepciji,u restoranu, welnesu... Sobe ciste i uredjene s ukusom. Dorucak i vecera izuzetno ukusni i raznovrsni. Mogu udovoljiti svacijem ukusu. Suma oko hotela veoma lepa. Mozda bih jedino napomenula da nabave udobnije jastuke za spavanje. Sve drugo perfektno Ponovo sam boravila u ovom hotelu. Hotel je potvrdio razloge zbog kojih sam se ponovo vratila. Posebno bih pohvalila Filipa,,decka koji nam je doneo i odneo ptrljag na kraju,zbog svoje ljubaznosti i uctivosti.

⸻ Крайне опасная ситуация в отеле! В отеле не соблюдаются элементарные меры безопасности — ключи от номеров выдают любому, кто назовёт имя и фамилию гостя. Проверку личности на ресепшене никто не проводит! Мы остановились здесь с маленьким ребёнком. Оказалось, что посторонний мужчина получил доступ к нашему номеру. Он не проживал в отеле и не был внесён в список гостей. Тем не менее, ему без проблем выдали ключ. Пока нас не было, он вошёл в номер и украл деньги. О краже мы узнали позже, когда вернулись и всё проверили. До этого к нам в номер пришла полиция, когда ребёнок спал. Без объяснений нас попросили немедленно выйти, угрожая, что в противном случае нас увезут в участок. Затем начали допрашивать, знаем ли мы человека на фотографии. Позже полиция заявила, что мы якобы знакомы с этим человеком, потому что он знал моё имя и фамилию. Но эта информация вообще не является конфиденциальной — в ресторане отеля на каждом чеке указывается имя, фамилия и номер комнаты. Всё это видно персоналу, и при желании — может быть передано кому угодно. Персональные данные не защищены, уровень безопасности на нуле. Мы уверены, что персонал как минимум причастен, потому что выдать ключ постороннему без документов — это грубое нарушение. Отель никак не отреагировал: не было ни извинений, ни предложений решить ситуацию. Мы потеряли целый день отдыха в состоянии сильного стресса, находясь в месте, где должно быть безопасно, особенно когда ты с ребёнком.

Внимание! В отеле происходят кражи! На ресепшене отеля выдают ключи от номеров посторонним людям без проверки. Это не просто халатность — это опасно! Мы проживаем в номере с маленьким ребёнком. Сегодня выяснилось, что посторонний мужчина получил ключ от нашего номера на ресепшене, просто назвав моё имя и фамилию. Он не был зарегистрирован в отеле и не имел на это никакого права. Несмотря на это, ему выдали ключ — и, дождавшись, пока мы отсутствуем, он зашёл в номер и украл деньги. Это стало ясно позже, когда мы зашли в номер и проверили всё. Полиция пришла к нам в номер, когда ребёнок спал. Они постучали и сразу начали требовать, чтобы мы вышли, угрожая, что если не выйдем — поедем с ними в участок. Никаких объяснений. После этого начали расспрашивать, знаем ли мы этого мужчину, показывая его фото. На тот момент мы даже не знали, что деньги пропали. Позже, когда проверили номер, обнаружили кражу. Полиция обвинила нас в том, что мы якобы знаем этого человека, так как он назвал моё имя и фамилию. Но в ресторане, когда записываешь чек на номер, там чётко видно имя, фамилию и номер комнаты — всё это в открытом доступе для персонала. Получается, любой официант или сотрудник может передать эту информацию третьим лицам. Ваши персональные данные в отеле не защищены! Безопасности — ноль! Персонал, скорее всего, замешан. Отель не извинился. Никакой компенсации. Целый день отдыха был потрачен в стрессе. Никакого чувства безопасности. А ведь мы были с маленьким ребёнком, в номере, куда мог зайти незнакомый мужчина с ключом в любой момент. и даже УКРАСТЬ РЕБЕНКА !!!! Я в шоке .

I thought the breakfast was amazing. The few times we ate in the evening was good, but not to the same high standard. This was our 5th time to Hotel Lone. We love the amenities and location plus the atmosphere which is light, airy, open, friendly, efficient and stress free. Definitely would recommend and no hesitation coming back again. We booked direct as it was undoubtedly best value and communication was very good. Thank you for my birthday cake too x

Wunderschönes Hotel, bzw. Hotelkomplex in Istrien. Die Lage ist perfekt. Wenige Gehminuten nach Rovinj und ca. 15- 20 Gehminuten Richtung Süden und man ist alleine an den dortigen zahllosen, wunderschönen Strandabschnitten. Wir hatten uns jeden Tag im Hotel ein Fahrrad ausgeliehen und haben Richtung Norden und Süden die Küste erkundet. Traumhafte Radtouren direkt am Meer...wunderschön. Das Einzige was uns gewundert hat war, dass man für recht abgenutzte und zum Teil nicht mehr richtig funktionstüchtige Fahrräder € 5,-- die Stunde in einem 5 Sterne Hotel verlangt. Das Frühstück war bombastisch. Das Zimmer sehr groß und stilvoll. Hotelanlage unglaublich schön. Viele Bäume und Vegetation.

Bili smo kratko... ali je bilo predivno! Čak i torta iznenađenja za rodđendan stigla! Zbilja misle na sve. Usluga na najvećoj razini, hrana prefina. Auto su nam svaki dan dovoziti kad bi negdje htjeli ići. Sobe su predivne, krevet ogroman. Čistoća na nivou. Sve sjajno. Za preporučiti! 🥰
