Our stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a kind, attentive, and impressively numerous staff who spoke excellent English and were always ready to assist. A special mention goes to the team at the pool bar – incredibly friendly and warm-hearted, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. The main pool was perfect – pleasantly warm, with no unpleasant chlorine smell, and just the right depth, even for our young children. The hotel is very child-friendly and tolerant towards families, yet still maintains a peaceful and respectful environment thanks to the well-mannered guests. We originally booked a standard room, but the lovely receptionist proactively checked the available options for an upgrade and kindly took the time to personally show us a few rooms. I really appreciated this level of service and did not hesitate to upgrade to a beautiful room with sea and pool views. The room was spacious and featured a large, comfortable bathroom. We were also pleasantly surprised by the à la carte dining – the meals were both delicious and interesting, with great presentation. Although this is a luxurious 5-star hotel, the overall atmosphere felt relaxed and unpretentious, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel – it’s the perfect place for a peaceful and comfortable family holiday by the sea.

Wir haben vor Kurzem zwei wundervolle Tage im Kempinski Hotel Adriatic in Savudrija, Kroatien verbracht und möchten unsere positiven Erfahrungen gerne teilen. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen, malerischen Umgebung direkt an der Adria und bietet einen herrlichen Blick aufs Meer. Besonders für Paare oder Erholungssuchende ist die Lage ideal — man kann hier perfekt abschalten und den Alltagsstress vergessen. Die Zimmer sind sehr elegant, hochwertig eingerichtet und verfügen teilweise über einen wunderschönen Meerblick. Die Betten sind äußerst bequem, die Zimmerreinigung war während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts tadellos. Besonders schön war der großzügige Balkon, auf dem wir abends den Sonnenuntergang genießen konnten. Das Frühstücksbuffet war eines der Highlights unseres Aufenthalts: Eine große Auswahl an frischen, regionalen Produkten, Eierspeisen auf Wunsch frisch zubereitet, dazu verschiedene Säfte, Kaffeevariationen und sogar ein kleines Angebot an glutenfreien Produkten. Hier bleiben kaum Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück war zudem im Zimmerpreis inklusive, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben. Das Spa- und Wellnessangebot im Kempinski Adriatic ist wirklich ausgezeichnet. Es gibt mehrere Saunen, ein Dampfbad, einen Innenpool sowie zahlreiche Massage- und Kosmetikanwendungen. Die Behandlungen sind zwar nicht ganz günstig, aber qualitativ sehr hochwertig. Auch der Außenpoolbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, mit ausreichend Liegen und schattigen Plätzen. Wer möchte, kann auch direkt am hoteleigenen Strand entspannen, der nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt ist. Das kostenlose WLAN hat im gesamten Hotelbereich sehr gut funktioniert, auch in den Zimmern und am Pool gab es keine Verbindungsprobleme. Die Mitarbeiter waren durchweg freundlich und professionell, an der Rezeption sowie im Restaurant. Allerdings hätten wir uns beim Check-in einen etwas persönlicheren Empfang gewünscht. Für ein 5-Sterne-Haus wäre hier noch etwas Luft nach oben. Trotzdem war der Service insgesamt sehr aufmerksam. Ein Punkt, den man bei der Buchung berücksichtigen sollte, sind die Preise. Mit 403 € pro Nacht (in unserem Fall vom 15.06. bis 16.06.) bewegt sich das Hotel sicherlich im oberen Preissegment. Dafür erhält man jedoch eine sehr hochwertige Unterkunft mit umfassendem Angebot. Insgesamt können wir das Kempinski Hotel Adriatic Istria Croatia definitiv empfehlen – sowohl für einen romantischen Kurzurlaub als auch für einen längeren Erholungsaufenthalt an der wunderschönen kroatischen Adriaküste. Wer Wert auf Ruhe, Komfort und ein exzellentes Spa-Angebot legt, wird hier voll auf seine Kosten kommen.

Just wanted to share with you my great experience as guest at Kempinski Istria. I really loved the 2000 sqm spa free of charge and the private beach & beach restaurant. Food was excellent spécially the truffle soup, staff very kind and smart Management team, to recommend to anyone Who wants to enjoy Istria

I heard it was a nice 5-star hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range and quality of service and amenities. A real 5* treatment! PRIVACY - best RESTAURANT - Amazing selection of Healthy and Popular choices + amazing wines BEACH - private, spacious, luxurious with great food & wine STAFF - excellent SPA - spacious with many choices and privacy GOLF - beautiful 18-hole course LOCATION - many small towns to visit SUMMARY: An amazing getaway for anyone wishing 5-star treatment with great food & wine and all in a very private surrounding... also great for families, but due to vast areas, you don't really notice the children...

Really wouldn’t bother. In need of refurb. Besides pretentious gloves for laying out cutlery, there was nothing 5 star about this resort. Missing tiles, poor slow service, unclear half board options, negative atmosphere. The noise in the evenings is intrusive on 2 out of 5 nights. The smoking is everywhere so our children had to passive smoke by the pool and on the outdoor terrace at breakfast and dinner. Just screamed pretentious and entitled with little consideration for others. There are plenty of other hotels to stay in, don’t bother with this overpriced 4 star hotel trying to be 5 star but failing miserably.

The service now lives up to the prestigious Kempinski name, offering a refined and elevated guest experience that was previously missing. There is noticeably more going on around the property – from curated events to a richer culinary and wellness offering. Everything feels more dynamic and thoughtfully executed. What truly stands out is the staff: incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to make your stay exceptional. From reception to restaurant to housekeeping, the entire team is attentive and accommodating in every way. A top-tier luxury destination that finally matches its potential. Highly recommended.

Wir wollten spontan ein Zimmer buchen aus dem Auto heraus also schauten wir im Netz und telefonierten uns wurde 380 € pro Nacht inklusive Frühstück gesagt. Wir sagten wir kommen vorbei und würden uns gerne das Zimmer ansehen das wäre kein Problem. Als wir ankamen, wollte der Herr an der Rezeption und das Zimmer für 550 € die Nacht Verkauf als ich dann noch einmal ins Handy Eingabe und immer noch die 380 € Darin standen, telefonierte der Herr und gab uns dann das Zimmer zum abgesprochenen Preis. Wir fühlten uns etwas abgezockt und nicht sehr gut behandelt. Nachdem wir eingecheckt hatten, wir blieben drei Nächte stellten wir fest, dass der Service In diesem Hotel nicht wirklich gut war meiner Meinung nach ist es nicht gut geführt Personal beschäftigt sich lieber mit sich selber an der Rezeption stehen immer Gruppen, die sich unterhalten, sehr viel Arroganz an der Rezeption wenig lächeln. Beim Personal der Poolbereich ist morgens nicht fertig. Um 11:00 Uhr waren bei bestem Wetter die Schirme nicht Aufgespannt. Es lagen keine Handtücher auf den liegen, so wie man das aus anderen Kempinskihäusern kennt. Wenn man Service wollte, muss man ihn sich suchen. Für mich ist das nicht standesgemäß in einem Kempinski Hotel. Wir waren in Kitzbühel im Adlon in Dubai und im hervorragenden Berchtesgaden Kempinski, dort hat man sich viel wohler gefühlt, als sie in Kroatien im Kempinski das Frühstück musste man sich komplett selber holen und für E Benedikt und so weiter sollte man extra bezahlen, damit man sich wie Ein Filmstar fühlt auch das fanden wir sehr unangebracht alles in allem würden wir dieses Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen

❌ A hotel we once loved turned into a complete disappointment We had been coming here for years – but this stay was an absolute disaster. No breakfast chef for omelettes, dirty dishes left on tables, staff slow and disorganized. Many couldn’t speak basic English. And the worst part? They refused to give our 3-year-old son cocoa just because we came 30 minutes early. Shameful. Eggs Benedict for an extra charge at breakfast? In a 5★ hotel? And Kanova restaurant, where we wanted to have dinner, was simply closed. No notice, no explanation. Just “bad luck – try tomorrow”. Totally unacceptable for a hotel of this level. At the beach – zero service, just a self-service bar. Food? Only pizza and fried fish – boring, low quality, overpriced. Pool area? Just as disappointing – weak menu and missing mosaic tiles, making the place look neglected. Rooms? Superficially cleaned, and a spiderweb between the doors of the connecting rooms stayed there untouched the whole time. Bathroom lacked even basics – no toothbrush, no comb. This is no longer a luxury hotel. It’s a sad downfall and a mockery of what it used to be. We’ll never return. And we strongly advise others to avoid this place. ⭐ 1/5

We did read the mixed reviews prior to our stay and to be honest, we were a bit worried when we arrived. And oh boy did we love our week here! The staff made us feel welcome at every turn we took. Yes, some of them were pretty new to the business BUT they tried their best all the time. The beach, pool, restaurants and rooms were all very clean and in very good condition! I do feel that they could maybe up their game at the restaurants (food), pizzas at the beach bar were excellent but the rest of the restaurants did not reach the otherwise high standard of the hotel. Other than that we loved it all. The golf course next door was also very nice!

The hotel is amazing but they have soo slow service beacause there is not enough staff and they are very bad trained. Shame for 5 star hotel which we are going to for last 5 years. You have to get more staff for sure.

We had an amazing stay at Kempinski Adriatic! The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Everything from the service to the atmosphere was top-notch. We felt truly welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. We will definitely be coming back 100%, and we highly recommend everyone to experience it at least once – it’s absolutely worth it!
