Great, clean facilities and friendly, helpful staff (especially the reception, cleaners and restaurant). Location is on a main road but not so much an issue if you are on floor 6 or above, as we were, as you room won't directly overlook it or be near it often. Although a little isolated, it's not too far from Omis and buses are cheap and every 30 minutesrunning until late. Sun loungers and parasols at their own beach come with an extra fee. Aside from that, any issues were so minor they aren't worth mentioning. Overall, very clean and relaxing and a great choice if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Split and Hvar but want to be able to travel to Split and the nearer islands relatively easily. The boat from Split to Hvar town is recommended as it's a high speed coach style boat that only takes 1 hour.

Unseren Sommerurlaub haben wir dieses Jahr in Duće verbracht. Das Hotel ist wirklich ein Traum. Ob für Familien oder Paare. Jeder kommt auf seine Kosten. Essen war super lecker. Frisch! Keine Massen an Essen, die man zum Schluss wegschmeißt. Strand vor der Tür. Hier könnt ihr aussuchen, ob ihr Sandstrand oder lieber Stein Strand mögt. Service ist toll! Und die 2 Minuten Autofahrt in die Stadt Omiš ein Muss. So eine süße Stadt. Wir haben es genossen !!!

Just returned (24th July 2025) from a week at the Plaza Duce. Went with Jet2 as they are always reliable in my experience. Friendly welcome at reception and stored our luggage securely, as our room wasn't quite ready. In the meantime, my daughter and I had lunch at the pool bar, which was very nice and great service. The outdoor pool is on the roof top terrace area and has lots of free sunbeds/parasols. This is also where the comfy seats are with great views out to sea. They light this area up at night which gives a lovely ambience. There is live entertainment 3-4 times a week. The indoor pool is really nice and has a jacuzzi and saunas too. All free to use. There is also a gym, but I was too tired to use it, as relaxing is hard work! The whole hotel (every square inch) was spotless. There is a computer in the reception area and a library if you want to borrow a book for by the pool. There are lifts to connect all areas and blocks. Breakfast and Dinner is in the lovely restaurant on floor 1, which has a balcony overlooking the main road. We sat out there for dinner every night, as the evenings were still very warm and the traffic isn't like at home in the UK. The food was brilliant. Lots to choose from for each course, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free etc and everything is labelled so you know what it is. Plenty of drinks (hot and cold) to choose from with breakfast, but you have to pay/buy your own with evening dinner, for example, glass of wine with your meal. I have no complaints what-so-ever about the food as it was perfect the whole time we were there. There is free tea and coffee, milk and sugar in your room which gets topped up daily or if you run out, reception will give you more - just ask! Bath robes and slippers and towels are supplied free too. A nice touch was that shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and hand wash was all supplied free, plus each room has it's own iron and ironing board, clothes brush, shoe horn, hairdryer and umbrella to use. There is also a safe in the wardrobe which can only be opened with your room card/key. All rooms have air con which only works when the patio door is closed. It was really good too as it was 35 degrees outside most days I was there. My room was on 2nd floor overlooking the main road, but when door is closed at night, you would never know. The curtains are electrically activated with a button by the bed and are blackout curtains. Bed was very comfy and they provide a pillow menu with 9 types if you are unhappy with the standard ones. Our room had a mini bar although I didn't use it. There is a TV in the room which had UK programmes on but I cannot remember the channel numbers - sorry. The bathroom was fantastic - lovely big shower plus a separate bath with a shower hose attached, and his and hers sinks. From what I can gather, the rooms are all the same, with identical items supplied,etc. The only thing that is different is the price you pay and the view you get. There is a shop that sells the basics, a 2-3 minute walk away (turn left out the hotel lobby) and the beach is right opposite the hotel. Just cross the road and there it is! There are several paths you can walk down to get to the beach - some of them cut through the campsite which is opposite the hotel and is based right on the beach, but you don't have to cut through the campsite if you don't want to. Just walk along another 10-15ft and there is a path. The campsite is for motor homes and towed caravans. The beach is gravelly sand and rather small compared to at home. However, the water is crystal clear and beautifully blue. There is a cycle path and walking path the full length of the beach, which is great for walking off your dinner! It goes right through to Omis (took me and my daughter 40 minutes to walk it, but I stopped off for a cornetto en route plus I fell over, so had a 5 minute break to get over the embarassment! No, I hadn't been drinking lol!) Omis is just as beautiful as the rest - the harbour was lovely and there were some great souvenir shops where we bought the obligatory fridge magnets. Everywhere nearby is pretty flat, so good for people in wheelchairs or people with pushchairs. Absolutely ALL staff at this hotel were fabulous. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are happy to help you with anything. They all seem to speak English quite well, plus other languages, which is great. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. I had a superior room and would definitely book it again. No complaints from me, as everything was wonderful. We were very sad when we had to leave as it was the most relaxing, hot and luxurious holiday we have had.

A welcoming hotel with exceptional service that retains the personal, friendly feel, and yet delivers top-grade accommodation and facilities.||45 to 60 minutes drive from the Split airport and around 35 minutes from central Split. 1 minute walk to the lovely beach which has a beach bar, sunbeds and umbrellas and the cleanest beach toilet I've ever seen.|10 minutes drive or 40 minutes walk to the busy, but attractive Omis.||Fully equipped room (nice to see a kettle) and excellent bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath. Aircon and lighting easily controlled and comfortable beds. Kept exceptionally clean and has a fabulous view.||Friendly, welcoming service from every member of staff and it was nice that the staff remembered my room number when I needed anything.||Choice of buffet restaurant or a la carte restaurant and the food is to a high standard. I judge it based on the quality of the fruit juice at breakfast and cloth napkins on the tables but choice and quality of food is extremely good.||Nice rooftop pool. We didn't try the indoor pool or spa or fitness rooms. Live music entertainment was an added bonus on some evenings without being intrusive.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The cleanliness is amazing . The rooms are lovely we had a suite with a sea view which was spectacular, the staff couldn’t do enough for you , the waiter who was there for the summer Dominic and his sister were the nicest and politest people , the food is well worth full board the choice is incredible,|Omiš town is 15 minutes away and you will be blown away by its beauty ,|The only 2 downsides to this hotel is when you are up at the pool on the roof of its windy the canopies are so noisy and it does spoil being able to relax , we used headphones to listen to music to get around this , also the beach across the road which is marketed and you think it belongs to the hotel and actually doesn’t so sunbeds and brollies need to be paid for.|Overall one of the best holiday we have been on and we have travelled extensively.|Croatia you stole our hearts ♥️

Excellent 10 day stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are what make this hotel. Special shoutout to Antonio whose bar service was outstanding plus the many staff at the buffet who also delivered excellent service. A lovely area of Croatia close to the beautiful town of Omis.

Sadly we were only here one night, but the hotel was very clean. The food was delicious. The views were phenomenal and the pool looked delightful. We didn’t get to swim, but we enjoyed having a cocktail near the pool and dinner at the restaurant.

This is an absolutely amazing hotel. Staff are so helpful. They have a choice of pillows! The food is top notch - I’ve never had a buffet breakfast with so much choice, and so fresh even though it’s mass catered. Special shout at to Iva at breakfast for her sunshine-y personality and her helpful tips. Promote this lady to concierge 💕 Omis is beautiful and only a €6 Uber or €2 bus away and Split an hour and only €1.50 each way. Cannot recommend enough. Although I must add we did visit just before the big school holidays.

This is a fabulous hotel. Much better than we’d thought before arriving. ||Reception was great- staff so knowledgeable and helpful. ||The hotel is absolutely spotless. People cleaning all the time. ||The different floors are a challenge at first but once you get the hang of them it’s easy. ||Rooms extremely modern and comfortable with some great little touches. Key card opens safe which was genius. ||Views of the sea and islands is perfect - there’s a few shops nearby to buy water etc. ||Food - plenty of choice. Don’t go full board as we did. Lunch isn’t the best as it’s off the menu. Buffet gives something for everyone. ||Entertainment some evenings but tends to be low key. ||Didn’t have a problem getting a sunbed. Hotels sunned on beach need to be paid for. ||Go to Omiš- an uber only costs a few Euros and it’s well worth it. ||Will be back

Fabulous hotel, beautifully situated with the most thoughtful, friendly and helpful staff. We went with our American family to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We found a beautiful selection of home made chocolates that had been left in our room with a happy anniversary note, such a nice touch. We ventured out to nearby restaurants and bars, all within walking distance, or taxi, which the reception staff were more than willing to arrange, as they did for a stunning boat trip inland from Omis. All together a fabulous holiday spent at a very special hotel with the most comfortable beds. We happily recommend the Hotel Plaza Duce 😊

The hotel and staff are magnificent. The hotel is beautifully clean and spacious, and the drinks prices are sensible. The rooftop bar is lovely, with a great pool and a lovely duo singing. The breakfast is also great. There are no complaints. Highly recommended. Thumbs up to Antonio who looked after us every evening in the rooftop bar.

We just had the most wonderful time at this hotel, and it truly deserves every one of its five stars! The staff were brilliant – so welcoming, genuinely friendly, and always eager to assist with anything we needed. That genuine hospitality made our trip. The food was also outstanding, easily some of the best we've had, and the rooms are excellent. Having travelled a fair bit, we knew from the moment we arrived on day one that this would be a place we'd visit again.

Being of a certain age we have traveled extensively and we can honestly say this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. From arrival till departure we were made to feel very welcome. The friendliness of all the staff was exceptional. We’d like to mention Iva and Antonio for their enthusiasm fun loving outlook. |The food was very good with lots of choice at both breakfast and dinner. Especially the ginger shot.|The pool bar was one of our favourite places especially in the evening with lots of cocktails to choose from our favourite being the Dick Bradsell Espresso Martini made with gusto by the bar staff who all had a great sense of humour. And evening entertainment was really lovely mellow.|Our room was just fantastic on the 12th floor with a beautiful unobstructed sea view of Brac Island. The room standard was exceptional in all aspects. |The beach area was more than adequate and never crowded. The sea was so glorious a bit chilly to get in but once in I didn’t want to get out. Plus we saw dolphins breaching as they swam along between Brac Island and our beach. |During our stay we met lots of wonderful people.|We were so impressed that we have already booked for next year and really looking forward to it. |Hvala svima to everyone at Plaza Duće for a wonderful experience.
