This was our first time in Slovenia, we came here to “unplug” during the May bank holidays. The little village of Zgornje Jezersko is really the best place to do so. There is not much to do around besides taking in the nature; the hotel is facing a magnificent glacier, and is surrounded by alpine forest. As soon as we arrived, we felt right at home, the staff was incredibly welcoming. The room was cozy, inviting and very well designed. The alpine feel was spot on. The food was incredible; the restaurant is on the Michelin guide and the chef will surprise you every night. They also have a crazy collection of wines (exclusively Slovenian). But what tops it all, truly, is the exceptional level of service we found there. Val in particular has been incredibly helpful, et il parle un français impeccable. Do not hesitate one second if you’re looking for an alpine « unplug » moment in Slovenia; this is THE place.

This was an absolut gem! A beautiful hotel, very clean, cozy atmosphere, very polite and friendly staff who love their job and the place they work and really enjoy speaking with the guests and advising them on food, wine or places to walk around! I travelled in February with my daughter and my best friend. We visited Bled one day but we rushed back to dinner at Vila Planinka! Bled is beautiful, no doubt, but Vila Planinka is really the quite, cozy alternative to home...a place to rest, both physically and mentally, while enjoying the perrrrfect food and an impressive wine list with a fabulous young sommelier who you would love to speak with and learn a lot about the Slovenian wine. We absolutely Loved Everything there! And we would looove to come back any time of the year! Če je tu dopustoval Boris Johanson mora že biti v redu! Všeč mi je zunanji izgled. Kot da bi bil na višini vsaj 2000 metrov. Ostalo ne morem komentirati ker nisem bil v objektu.

Ovaj hotel je fantastičan. Sve izgleda jako lijepo, uredno i čisto. Predvorje je zenimljivo i oku ugodno, sobe su velike i lijepo uređene i naravno tu je slatka spa soba s dvije saune. Što se tiče osoblja zaslužuju 10 zvjezdica za svoju ljubaznost i pristupačnost. Lokacija je nevjerojatna, okružena planinama, puno mogućnosti za šetnju i planinarenje, prekrasna priroda i pogled na planine.. savršeno odredište za punjenje baterija (ne samo vozila).

Un posto romantico ed elegante.|Aperitivi davanti al fuoco scoppiettante, ambiente caldo ed accogliente. Staff attento e preparato, in particolare il sommelier e anche i camerieri che hanno spiegato qualche piatto anche con qualche parola italiana.|Noi abbiamo preso il menù di 5 portate. Forse qualche piatto era un po' più estivo che invernale...ma è stato tutto buono ed accattivante, in particolare il dessert e il saluto della cucina, che ci hanno stupiti.|Un'ora di macchina ben spesa, grazie anche al paesaggio innevato del passo e alla neve luccicante tutt'intorno.

We had really great time at Vila Planinka. The property is really clean and everything looks really nice. Lobby is supercool and cozy, rooms are big and nicely decorated and of course there is a cute spa room with two sauna :). Have to mention stuff- they deserve 10 stars for their friendliness and accessibility, we have only amazing words for them :) Location is amazing - surrounded with the mountains, a lot of walking and hiking possibilities, beautiful nature and mountain views.. perfect destination for charging your batteries.

My family had an excellent stay here over Christmas. The staff are very helpful and gave us some tips on what to do in the area as well as looking after us while at the Vila. We had half board and the breakfast / dinners were delicious. Coffee was also excellent.
