Unfair Parking Charge and Unprofessional Staff (August 3, 2025) On August 3, 2025, we were charged €72 for hotel parking, despite the fact that we never received a parking card-ticket and had parked outside the hotel’s marked parking area, in a nearby public space. When we brought this up at check-out, the reception staff were unprofessional, unhelpful, and dismissive — particularly David, who showed no courtesy or willingness to resolve the issue. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. Being charged for a service we didn’t use and treated with arrogance when raising a valid concern left a very poor impression. I would not recommend this hotel.

Vrlo dobar hotel, odlična lokacija, sve čisto i uredno, doručak raznolik i kvalitetan, a wellness i bazeni pravi plus. Osoblje ljubazno i nenametljivo. Ono što nas je posebno oduševilo je mini club i animatorica Dea koja je posvećena i prirodna s djecom. Programi kao mini disco su bili zabavni a mini mjuzikl je djeci bio vrhunac tjedna. Djeca su se svaki dan veselila odlasku i mi smo napokon imali malo pravog odmora. Vjerojatno se vidimo opet.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before and was always satisfied, but this time I was disappointed. Yes, the hotel is clean — that’s the only significant plus. But the downsides outweigh everything else. The food has become terrible: tasteless, bland, and with a poor selection. The staff can’t keep up with clearing the tables, and there’s a constant loud clattering of cutlery and dishes — it honestly feels intentional and very disturbing. What disappointed me most: not even a single complimentary bottle of water in the room. In previous years, guests were welcomed with water and fruit. Now, the minibar is empty, and everything must be ordered through room service — and then you wait for 30 minutes or more. It used to feel like this hotel cared about returning guests, but sadly, the level of service has dropped. There’s less comfort now and no desire to return. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

Personnel correct (sauf la piscine, 1 seul de bien). Chambre bien, assez spatieuse avec petite terrasse, mais pas à la hauteur d'un 4 étoiles (vu sur les toits des batiments du complexe), fuite au pommeau de douche, odeurs très fortes d'urine de chats mais pas de fourmis). Piscine glacée d'eau de mer ; impossible d'y rentrer ! Un très bon buffet p'tit déj. Un bon 3 étoiles mais assurément PAS un 4 etoiles.

Ja i supruga smo se ovdje upoznali 2013.godine ali ne kao turisti već kao zaposlenici Bluesun Hotel Elaphusa.Nakon 12 godina odlučili smo svoj godišnji odmor provesti upravo tu, i nismo požalili, bilo je sve super,lijepo je bilo vratiti se kratko u mladost,hvala vam na tome.Lijep pozdrav

The hotel enjoys a stunning location between the town of Bol and the iconic Zlatni Rat beach. Its architecture is elegant, the staff generally courteous, and the setting offers a variety of options for a relaxing holiday. However, several shortcomings impacted our stay, limiting our rating to three stars. These issues stem mostly from the poor organisation of hotel operations, as outlined below: Housekeeping Intrusion:On the first morning, we were woken around 9 a.m. by housekeeping, who insisted we leave the room so they could clean. When I politely declined, I was met with a visibly annoyed expression and an abrupt turn away. This felt intrusive and rude On the second day the room was not cleaned at all, only after an intervention at the reception the room was cleaned in the late afternoon Chaotic Restaurant Service: Evening dining was extremely poorly managed. On two of the four nights, we were not served at all—despite bringing this to the attention of staff. On the third night, we had to actively "chase" a waiter across the terrace to place an order, and on the fourth, we were fortunate that one happened to pass by. Clearing and tidying operations were noisy and disorganised, with staff hurriedly removing excessive amounts of dishes and cutlery, which disrupted the atmosphere. These service lapses suggest a lack of proper training.The staff appeared visibly anxious and stressed, which likely contributed to the overall disarray and lack of attentiveness. These service lapses suggest a lack of proper training and support. One plea to the management, invest in the staff, they are in contact with the guests and leave an impression on the guest. That said, the food itself was varied and delicious. No Private Beach and Crowded Pool: The hotel no longer offers access to its former beach, Plaza Borak. The pool area was dominated by families with children, making it feel more like a playground than a relaxing retreat. Air Conditioning Noise: A particularly unfortunate design choice places the air conditioning compressors between the hotel buildings, directly beneath the room windows. This results in constant mechanical noise—day and night—making it feel more like staying next to a factory than in a holiday resort. Perhaps this is the penalty for booking one of the more budget-friendly rooms? Hidden Fees and Pricing Gimmicks: Be aware: hotel bars and restaurants apply a service charge, although its purpose is unclear. Additionally, arranging an airport taxi through the hotel costs €55, whereas booking independently costs just €35—a significant and disappointing markup.

Parking se plaća, ali nema mjesta na parkingu, te postoji jedan subinteligentni zaposlenik, vozač u bijeloj ford transit hladnjači, te se dvadeset minuta nije htio maknuti gostu hotela da prođe vozilom. Zamjerke za hotelsko osoblje, hranu i ljubaznost nemam.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Elaphusa war insgesamt angenehm, jedoch mit einigen Verbesserungspotenzialen. Der Empfang an der Rezeption war grundsätzlich in Ordnung, alles verlief sehr gut. Es wirkte jedoch etwas kühl und könnte durch mehr Herzlichkeit verbessert werden. Die Mannschaft im Servicebereich war auffallend großzügig belegt, dennoch schienen die Mitarbeiter genervt. Die Zimmermädchen waren sehr nett, freundlich und hinterließen die Zimmer immer sehr sauber. Die Zimmer allgemein sind ansprechend, allerdings merkt man der Hotelanlage ihr Alter an. Insbesondere der Pool benötigt dringend eine Renovierung, da kleinere Mängel auffielen. Die Spa-Anlage war in Ordnung, jedoch nichts Außergewöhnliches. Ein wesentlicher Kritikpunkt sind „versteckte“ Preise: Im Hotel wurde automatisch eine Servicegebühr von 10% auf Speisen und Getränke erhoben, sowie eine 5% Servicegebühr vom Gesamtpreis. Zusätzlich konnte man freiwillig Trinkgeld geben. Es sind generell die Preise in Kroatien gestiegen, was den Aufenthalt etwas teurer macht. Nichtsdestotrotz bleibt Kroatien ein wunderschönes Reiseziel, das immer noch einen Besuch wert ist!

Sve je odlicno, samo je racunovodstvo zakazalo, vec danima cekamo na povrat svog novca, koji ste uzeli s kartice kao da se osigurate a pri polasku smo platili novcem, za 7 dana uzeli iznos x2, a jos nikad povrata nema. Uzasno iskustvo! Mislim da nikad vise ovako suradjivati necemo. Znate ograditi i osigurati sebe a kad treba vratiti novac, ko da ga prvo zaraditi trebate pa vratiti.
