Wir waren vom 15. bis 22.6. 2025 im Admiral Grand Hotel.|Vom ersten Augenblick beim einchecken bis zur Abreise wurden wir immer freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient.|Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen, das Hotel ist sauber, das Personal freundlich, das Essen hat geschmeckt und war abwechslungsreich. |Ganz besonders hat uns gefallen, dass es hier zu keiner Zeit, wie in anderen Hotels üblichen, Kampf um die Liegen an Stand und Pool gab.||Es war rundum ein schöner Urlaub.||Wir können das Hotel mit guten Gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Checked in way too early, 11:30 am and frosty receptionist told us where luggage room was and to come back at 3 pm. Saw many checking in at 2:30 pm so we did too with the same frosty receptionist. Room - at back of hotel, 2nd floor, overlooking a bar and restaurant across the street. This is probably standard for package tour bookings but not too bad really. Good shuttering, doors and curtains onto a small balcony with table and chairs which are shaded for most of the day. Beds very comfy. TV has only news channels in English with zero entertainment with other languages better catered for. Plenty of storage and space but most unlikely to use it for more than sleep. Mini-bar fridge, extortionate prices and no space for and instructions not to use it for own goods/drinks. No ironing allowed in room and no kit supplied. We got a kettle,2 coffee sachets and 2 fruit teabags, no milk no sugar so poitless. Bathroom good not outstanding with shower over bath. Room Overall not 5 star but good enough and very clean. (Coke at 20 Euro a litre, self serviced - Joker Cola) WATER - no free bottled water provided at all, even with meals, but THE TAP WATER IS 100% SAFE TO DRINK and reputedly better than in UK! I drank gallons of it. Breakfast - fairly standard hot and cold offerings, buffet style, nice outdoor tables near beach possible. Dinner - varied selection of buffet style starters and hot and cold mains. Usual buffet lack of hot plates and food not maintained at high enough temperature. Waiters disorganised and easily flustered when busy. Many instances of failure to take drink orders, delivering the wrong drinks and clearing tables even when occupants were just getting a dessert! Deserts nice if not spectacular. To achieve 5 star quality with a buffet is impossible so please don't expect it. OUTDOORS - indoor pool nice but hot as a greenhouse. Outdoor pool excellent but even at 30C air temp you need to go in slowly! No diving, balls or inflatables allowed. Beach, private and nice. Downside is footwear needed at all times, including in the sea, as it is all sharp rocks. Usual pre towelling of beds happens but we found it better than most. Shortage of lots of tables and a few shades. Disgusting behaviour of towelling in a shaded occasional seating area not seen or sorted by staff. Sun shades poor and insubstantial with stiff gusts causing them to lift and even end up in the sea. One took off, flew about 10 metres at us. We were saved from injury by our own sunshade. Could have been nasty. STAFF - Around 40 % of them smiley and say hi. The others generally frosty and don't seem to be happy to be there or that you are there. Waiters in particular are surly, disorganised and seem to think it's ok to swipe things off your table without breaking a swift stride as the go by creating a less than relaxed atmosphere - except on the odd occasion that the Manager shows her face. CHILDREN and AGES - very few children around and in my opinion it would be cruel to holiday them there. There is no entertainment for anyone. There is no noisy music or an animation team to destroy the peace and quiet around the pool - bliss for some. The demographic is mainly over 50s with a smattering of 20s to 40s and 90% couples. Disabled and wheelchair users well catered for. AROUND - 2 mini marts nearby with good supplies of cheap drinks etc CLOSED Sundays. A friendly pub/bar nearby with prices similar to UK and a lot cheaper than many UK pubs. Also a few restaurants to get lunch or a break from the dinner waiters at reasonable prices. Remember though that Slano is a 600 population village with a marina and is as far away from party town as it gets which for a quiet holiday is great. SUMMARY, if you want a quiet, almost adult only chilled holiday this could well be the place for you. Expect it to be a little overpriced and do not expect 5 star. Some parts are 5 star but the parts that are nearer 3 star make it a 4 at best.

Super hotel dans la baie de SLANO. Le personnel y est agréable, serviable, attentionné et toujours prêt à trouver une solution à chaque problème. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est trés complet, salé et sucré varié. Le buffet du soir par contre mériterai de varier un peu plus. La plage est propre et le personnel toujours prêt à vous rendre service. Les chambres sont spacieuses et toujours trés propres, peut-être manque t elles pour de petites attentions (coton à démaquiller, coton tige).

Lovely clean rooms. Perfect location right on the beach. Plenty of sunbeds for all. I would say this hotel is 4 star personally as food not as good as other 5 star hotels . Plenty of choice, food could have been a bit hotter too. Receptionist very friendly, others not as welcoming. The resort is very quiet, perfect for peace and relaxation . Hired a car from reception and took bus to Dubrovnik old town ( bus stop is right outside hotel and goes at 10.40 and 11.40, bus number 12) and comes back 16.40 and 17.50. Euro 3.70 each way per person. |Beach is beautiful and clean. Sea amazing. There are only a few restaurants in walking distance and a few bars. Excellent WiFi . Enjoyed our visit.

Hôtel propre, chambre spacieuse, personnel agréable. Piscine extérieure eau de mer, piscine intérieure eau chlorée sympa avec jacuzzi. Plage pas du tout agréable du fait que le port soit juste à côté. Eau sale avec dépôts et odeurs de pétrole, très décevant pour un établissement 5 étoiles.

Nice hotel but not 5☆, lovely setting, abrupt staff but could be a cultural thing. House keeping isn't up to standard, both pools salt water so no good for me. Food was ok. Slano was a quaint little town tour boats in most nights. They dont provide tea/coffee etc apart from the 1st night, you have to buy your own milk so not 5☆.

We stayed in the hotel from 8 to 15 th june. We had 3 rooms 1 with balcony 2 without. The room with the balcony was just above the entrance and all the busses in the morning were set to leave from there and all the fumes were into the room. The topper on the bed was horible, i taught I would sing in between the beds. Kudos for the pool guy, very kind and nice, housekeeping and reception. Huge thubs down for the restaurant supervisors. I felt more like I have teachers around me than being in a 5*. Work your manners guys. There was a huge difference between us and other nations " british" for ex no offence towards them No music no entertainment, at one point I was curious if they are measuring the decibel level. The beaches are public so do not mind if someone comes to tell you are not allowed with your own drinks. Food was amazing 15/10. Good job to the kitchen. Average age was 70+ so if you search for dances and laughs, don t go. Overall we enjoyed but I wouldn t come a second time.

Hôtel 5 étoiles un peu ternes. Chambres et toilettes correctes et propres. Les piscines sont à l’eau de mer, très agréables. Les espaces communs sont assez agréables et bien entretenus. Le moins bien : la restauration : assez peu variée, pas à la hauteur d’un 5 étoiles. Pas de plats régionaux. Quant au tarif des boissons, il est assez élevé. Même chose au bar de l’hôtel avec des tarifs 5 voire 6 étoiles. Heureusement, il existe un petit bar en face de l’hôtel avec des prix corrects. Le personnel n’est pas particulièrement sympathique, pas d’animation en soirée, comme en journée d’ailleurs.

Really great view from the room. Stayed at the suite that sleeps 4 people. Went to see the gift shop and I wish it sold swim suits or beach related items.

If you are looking for quiet and complete relaxation, this hotel is in an absolute must and in a stunning location, all staff are very friendly and helpful.

Emplacement de l'hôtel remarquable, de beaux sites à voir aux alentours. Chambres confortables, mais faites très rapidement. Pour le repas du soir, très peu de changement en ce qui concerne les entrées. Responsable de salle , le soir ,Mr SVO.. , Gr.... désagréable et peu compétent. Cependant nous recommanderions ce séjour.
