Owner is not very accommodating. I had some stuff come up on my trip and have to go home a week early. I told him this two weeks before my stay hoping I could get a refund or at least half my money back and he did nothing at all to help me. Instead he took my money and offered no help. I would have loved to visit Serbia and Croatia but had to cut my trip short for unexpected circumstances.

Such a gorgeous and homely hostel! Igor was so friendly and had loads of suggestions for things to do in Zagreb and surrounding areas - of which not most tourists get to see. Really close to the tram station too so very easy to get into town. The hostel was very clean and tidy and has really cool artwork on all the walls. Will absolutely be back😎

Creo que nunca en mi vida he ido a un hostel tan bien equipado y con tanto amor encima. Nota con gran potencial el esfuerzo y dedicación para sostener un espacio tan cálido y de buenas vibras! Recomiendo 100% sin ninguna duda, Igor el dueño es un gran host🫶🏻 INIGUALABLE🌟

great place is a very calm neighbourhood. easy acces to trams. Very friendly welcomming by Igor and really chill athmosphere. (bath)rooms have everything you need and are clean. easy 5 star!!

definitely the place to go in zagreb (except if you prefer hostels that look like ikea stores or care about being in the old town). very welcoming and social hostel. great atmosphere and artworks all over the house. the host, igor, is a really nice guy (and the volunteers were so nice as well). will definitely come back :)

I stayed here in the winter of 2022. It is the best hostel I have ever stayed at, like everyone else is saying in these reviews! Nowhere else will you feel so at ease and so welcome. Amazing outdoor area with kitchen and really cosy inside meeting area with sofas and long table. Very comfy beds. The art around the hostel is from people who stayed at Mali Mrak. But most of all an incredible person/host, Igor. He has put so much work in this place! I cannot imagine how much people in his long career he must have met, yet he still treats everyone with the same curiosity and kindness. In a world of modern, hospital-like hostels, this one is still a hostel like it's supposed to be.
