A real Gem of a hostel! Everything is super clean, the bathrooms have some privacy, and the common area inside and outside is just gorgeous with hangmats, nice furniture and even a Barbecue! They even offer free Breakfast which is really rich (local bread, cereal, fruit, pastry..) and overall it doesn't seem like your typical hostel but more like a nice holiday apartment with all around service. The staff is also super friendly, they helped me with some information about the surrounding area and were always up for a chat. I ended up here by accident late in the evening but would absolutely come again if I'm near Tolmin!

A renovated place, with a well-equiped kitchen, nice rooms, and specially a very nice host. She was very helpful and very welcoming. I will definitely go back there if I have the chance.

I went there for the Metaldays festival. It was the best to be able to go to a bed, clean toilets and shower. The ladies took really good care of us and really looked forward to the breakfast. Usually breakfast stops at 10 AM, but for our festival they extended the time until 11 am, which many people still missed but I thought it was extra special on their part. One of me favorite features of the room was that each bed had it's own plug, a small shelf and small light. That was fantastic!

The greatest hostel experience I ever had. very cozy place, with nice garden with benches and a big table. The kitchen is well equipped, with all the necessary stuff for you to cook. The bedroom is very comfortable, and it has air conditioning. The location is quite good as well, just 5 min away from a good supermarket and walkable distance to basically anywhere in the city. The Tolmin gorges are also very close, either walking or by car.

Zelo lepo urejen in čist hostel. Objekt je bil totalno obnovljen. Sobe so prijetne in imajo klimo. Osebje je zelo prijazno. 👍Priporočam 😎

Ein super sauberes Hostel. Ich war unglaublich positiv überrascht. CheckIn war problemlos. Die Frühstückszeit ist mit 8-10 Uhr auch perfekt. Eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite und zu Restaurants und zum Busbahnhof ist es auch nicht weit. Eine kleine Küche steht auch zur Verfügung 👍🏼 Für Festivalbesucher: man läuft ca. 15min bis zum Festivalgelände.

The hotel is clean and well equipped and the garden is so nice to chill out. We instantly felt home. The staff was extremely friendly and helped me to get a computer for an online exam I had to take during my trip. When you are looking for a place in Tolmin, this is it.

Hostel Hildegarden opened it's doors in 2017 after a total renovation of the house. Stylish looking interior, great terrace and friendly host, makes this hostel kind of special and worth of your visit. Breakfast was great and rich. Rooms are equiped with AC. Hostel is very clean, tidy and everything is in order. While visiting Tolmin and it's surroundings, Hostel Hildegarden is a good place to stay. Reasonably priced. 👍

Nagyon modern hostel. Kedves,segítőkész a személyzet. A mindennapi dolgokat irányító Mojce nagyon kedves, segítőkész volt. Speciális étkezést is megoldotta.

Even though the accommodation calls itself a "hostel", it also offers a private room. Therefore our impression was more of a B&B guesthouse. And not only the cheapest we stayed in Slovenia, but also with the best value we had. Although a hostel, our private room was supplied with linen and towels. There was a table to put our things down. Even a modest yet tasty breakfast was served. Location is convenient in the center of Tolmin, there is a nice garden surrounding the premises and a large parking lot is available.

Habe eine Nacht hier verbracht und kann das Hostel nur weiter empfehlen. Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und super sauber. Die wirklich nette Besitzerin hilft einem gerne mit Tips weiter. Hätte fast das erwähnenswert Frühstück vergessen.
