Locale collocato sul porto con una bella atmosfera serale ideale per una cena di coppia. L’esperienza è stata mediocre: è il classico locale acchiappa-turisti, come la maggior parte di quelli presenti a Cavtat. Abbiamo preso il misto di carne per due persone e la crème brûlée tipica chiamata Rožata. Anzitutto, il servizio è stato lento nonostante il ristorante non fosse pieno; inoltre, uno dei camerieri continuava ad alludere al fatto che fossimo italiani con delle frasette stereotipate: non credo fosse un atteggiamento razzista, piuttosto una comicità un po’ "boomer" che personalmente ho trovato fastidiosa. Per quanto riguarda la qualità del cibo, il misto di carne era a stento mangiabile e lo abbiamo parzialmente terminato solo perché non ci piace che il cibo venga sprecato. A parte la salsiccia, il resto era tutto troppo cotto rendendo la carne stopposa e secca. Anche il dolce tipico non è stato nulla di eccezionale: il sapore di uova era troppo forte, in altri locali è decisamente più gradevole. Se pagate in contanti vi offrono uno sconto del 10%. Un’attenzione gradita, ma che, a conti fatti, non riesce a risollevare un’esperienza nel complesso inappagante.

Honestly, I’m pretty sure we left a small piece of our hearts there. The vibe? Think cozy, charming, and super welcoming. But let’s talk about the real star of the show: Juri. This guy doesn’t just serve you food, he serves you an experience! By the second visit, we were practically on a first-name basis, and it felt like we were dining with family. And don’t get me started on the staff seriously, you’ll feel like you're hanging out with long-lost friends the minute you walk in. Now, onto the food. I need a minute to gather my thoughts because it was THAT good. Every single dish was a masterpiece super fresh, bursting with flavour, and seriously Instagram-worthy. From local Croatian specialties to those comforting classics, I’m pretty sure we ate our weight in it all. No joke, we ended up going back almost every night. I’m not saying we’re obsessed, but... okay, maybe we are. And the prices? Let’s just say they’re shockingly reasonable for the level of quality you’re getting. It’s like finding a unicorn in the restaurant world food, service, ambiance, and value all perfectly aligned. I’m already counting down the days till we’re back next year, and you can bet that Ivan will be our first stop.

From the very first evening, we were completely hooked. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of charm. And then there’s Juri what a host! He doesn’t just serve you food; he welcomes you like an old friend and makes you feel right at home. By our second visit, we felt like part of the family. All of the staff are very friendly. Now let’s talk about the food... wow. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavour, fresh, beautifully presented, and downright delicious. From local specialties to classic favorites, every bite was a treat. We couldn’t resist coming back night after night - yes, we actually went almost every evening of our trip! The prices are more than fair, especially for the quality you’re getting. It’s rare to find a place where the food, service, ambiance, and value all hit the mark so perfectly. Already counting down the days until we return next year, and you can bet Ivan will be the first place we go!

Schönes Lokal am Wasser aber das war's dann auch. Bin zufällig vorbei gekommen und wollte frühstücken, es war 08:55 Uhr. Die Kellnerin, die grad draußen saß meinte, dass sie erst um 9 Uhr öffnen. Dachte ok, dann geh ich weiter, wenn die 5 min so eine große Rolle spielen. Schließlich meinte sie, ich könnte mich doch setzen. Ich bestellte einen Cafe Latte und Toast und bat sie, Ketchup dazu zu servieren, was ignoriert wurde. Der Toast schmeckte irgendwie labbrig und nicht knusprig, weil er nicht lang getoastet wurde. Alles in allem hat das alles keinen guten Eindruck bei mir gemacht, weshalb ich das Lokal auch nicht weiterempfehlen möchte.
