My son ordered tuna steak and it was so salty that his lips started to swell! He did not want to finish it, of course! I ordered black risotto and it was very salty as well, I couldn’t finish it! My husband ordered cevapcici and unfortunately they are also very salty and doesn’t taste good. Overall everything was too salty and we did not finish it! Furthermore the food didn’t taste good, and not fresh at all! It tastes like frozen food! And they arrived very fast! They arrived 5 minutes after we ordered! I went to many very good restaurants and very bad restaurants. This restaurant goes to the second category, the bad one. I dont understand why it is recommended by the local meanwhile there are still a lot of better restaurants around here. Anyway, they are sorry and they offered us a dessert on the house. A good gesture, I guess . 4 hours later, we all three have stomach ache (possibly food poisoning from this restaurant 🤢… ) It was our last night in Split and it was Very disappointing and I will not recommend this restaurant. Response to the Owner: this is not spam review. You should maintain the quality of the food otherwise no one will go there anymore and you can loose the business. This restaurant should have health inspection from the authority due to some reviews of digestive issues (diarrhea, food poisoning etc)… Consumers should be treated well and not be ignored like this.

My wife and I ate here because of the proximity to our hotel. It looked like a nice place and centrally located. I ordered the tuna steak and my wife had the pasta Bolognese. The service was okay. When the food came out my tuna steak looked good. After the first bite I felt it was off, but I kept eating because I was hungry. I ended up eating only half of it because I felt terrible from it. An hour later I had a rash, diarrhea and a terrible headache. We went to the pharmacy and they mentioned it was “Histamine poisoning”, due to mishandling of the fish (not the restaurants fault). My wife’s bolognese was not good either and the pasta didn’t have any flavor to it. The host at our hotel said not to go there after, it’s not one of the restaurants they recommend. Response to the owner: this is not a spam review. It is not possible you check for Histamine levels daily…Please see the photos of the reaction I got from your tuna steak. The doctor said it was “Histamine poisoning, also known as scombroid poisoning”

Buffet Fife is a very simple, canteen-style place located on the harbor, just slightly off the main nightlife area. It offers local dishes at truly low prices compared to the city’s average. The cuttlefish ink risotto is exquisite, as is the generous portion of fried calamari with fries — and they also have many other tasty dishes that are definitely worth trying! The young woman who seated us and the waiter who served us were both very professional. Bye from Italy!!!

Miła obsługa, uśmiechnięty kelner umilił nam pobyt. Zamówiliśmy między innymi zupę rybną, która była bardzo przeciętna. Czarne risotto - było smaczne i treściwe. Risotto z jagnięciną - poprawne. Do tego miejsca poszliśmy z polecenia, myślę jednak, że ten jeden raz wystarczy 😉

Kävimme kaksi kertaa. Tästä ravintolasta ei löydy mitään moitteen sanaa. Ruoka on autenttisen kroatialaista, palvelu ensiluokkaista ja tunnelma hieno. Hintatasokin on kohtuullinen eikä tippejä kinuta kiusallisesti meiltä eurooppalaisilta, jotka emme niitä harrasta. Listalta kannattaa ottaa "ready meals" kuten muhennoksia. Ne tulevat pöytään salamannopeasti. Hyvin harvoin täytyy todeta, että paikasta ei ole mitään pahaa sanottavaa. Tästä ei ole. Mene tänne, ja varaudu jonottamaan jos menet illallisen aikaan.

Had a bit of a wait for space in the restaurant but it was worth it. Very good food, well portioned and reasonably priced. Sat inside due to the weather but the atmosphere was still nice. Definitely recommend a visit.

We're really disappointed about this place. The food was cold, we had our meal before our cocktails, and my fried calamari was full of sand. We don't recommend this place, it's cheaper than other ones, the service is really fast, the place is cute, really nosy, but I can't recommend it if you want good food and appropriate service.

Das Restaurant ist definitiv zu empfehlen. Wir waren zu zweit da und haben das Cevapcici bestellt mit Oliven und Brot als Vorspeise, zusätzlich haben wir uns einen Weißwein geteilt (1L). Es war super lustig und ein tolles Ambiente draußen.
