Overall, a place above the standard — the food was delicious, lounge music playing in the background, cold drinks, good service, and a price that was completely reasonable. We ate and drank for €57 for four people. A young and trendy spot, definitely recommended.

Wauw, wauw, wauw – wat is dit een bijzondere plek! Ze zijn hier supergastvrij en ontzettend vriendelijk. We waren op zoek naar een plekje om te ontbijten, en vooral naar een plek met een gezellige sfeer. Na een nare ervaring in Zadar waren we genoodzaakt door te reizen, maar eerlijk is eerlijk: dit was eindelijk weer een fijne, hoopvolle start van een vakantie die tot dan toe niet zo goed was begonnen. Onze hond was méér dan welkom en werd minstens zo goed bediend als wij. Niets was hen te veel. Ze hielpen haar zonder enige twijfel, en ook wij werden met open armen ontvangen. We bestelden wat te eten en werden bediend met een oprechte glimlach – iets wat je niet vaak meer ziet. Het eten was bovendien heerlijk, daar viel niets op aan te merken. Jullie zijn geweldig – dank jullie wel voor deze perfecte nieuwe start. Wij komen zeker terug, en onze hond Blue kijkt er net zo hard naar uit om jullie nog eens te mogen ontmoeten!

Visited this place a few years back and it was great. Came again today with the family and overall it was a disappointing experience. The staff are friendly enough, and the place has an OK atmosphere. However, there's a wait for the food, which is fine and to be expected, if it wasn't for the fact that when the food arrived it was cold - luke warm at best! Eating cold eggs at this price was not the experience we were hoping for. Underwhelming and overrated.

A hidden gem (literally) — and my new favorite brunch spot in Zagreb! Stumbled upon Eggpress like I was on a quest for hidden treasure — it’s tucked away in a little alley which makes the whole experience feel kinda magical from the start. And let me tell you, the reward is so worth it. I had the avocado toast with smoked salmon and poached egg, and it was chef’s kiss — super flavorful, generously sized, and beautifully plated. My mom went for the cheese omelette which came with a few pieces of toast and a fresh garnish, just like mine. Everything tasted fresh and amazing. The space is small but suuuper cute — major cozy, with loads of plants in the garden that just elevate the whole vibe. They have umbrellas outside so you’re chillin’ in the shade while enjoying your food. Staff? Absolutely lovely. Everyone is smiley, helpful, and genuinely sweet. You can pay by card or cash, and prices are totally fair — honestly, worth every cent. Not from Zagreb, but next time I’m in town, this will 100% be my go-to brunch spot again. Couldn’t recommend it more.

I came here for breakfast. I ordered an egg Benedict and a single espresso. The guy taking the order is very friendly, pays attention to details while taking the order and very helpful. The food is fresh and tasty. The place is cozy and has a soul. A great experience!

Izvrsna atmosfera, super konobari, a hrana nas oduševila i definitivno se vraćamo. Nemojte obraćati pažnju na određene loše recenzije. Konobari i kuhari rade u maksimaloj efikasnosti u kojoj mogu s obzirom na prostor i mogućnosti te trenutnu popularnost. Takva izvrsna bogata jela trebaju vremena za pripremiti, a izjave poput "trebalo je više od sat vremena da ih se posluži" su izričita laž pošto smo mi bili gotovi s jelom u manje od sat vremena, a sjedili smo za stolom pored i vidjeli situaciju!

I have been here several times. And today I came for coffee. I had 15 minutes to rest between things. And waiter told me that you can't order just coffee, only with breakfast. I just eat recently and I want just to relax and have coffee. This is the first time I've heard you couldn’t take just coffee and I'm very upset. I went to another place and I don't want to come here again with such service.

Katastrofalna energija i vibra - nakon čekanja od sat vremena, neugodno okretanje očima konobara i glasno otresanje kuhara na zamolbu da prilagodi jelo onome što im stoji u meniju. Uz ekstraglasni komentar kuhara tipa “ja sam je***no pola sata sjeckao rajčice, a ona sad filozofira”. Dojam kao da bismo moje maloljetno dijete i ja trebali biti počašćeni što nam je dopušteno da sjedimo i čekamo sat vremena u lokalu. Do konzumiranja hrane nismo ni došli jer je atmosfera i bezobrazno ponašanje bilo razlog da se dignemo i otiđemo. Okej, nisu nam dali da platimo - sitna slatka kurtoazija - ali nas sigurno više nikad neće vidjeti. Ekipa, ako nemate strpljenja i energije za goste, nemojte se baviti jajima i uslužnim djelatnostima.
