Long wait and process to rent car. BEWARE — hidden charges on collection for traveling to an island and cleaning the car (first time ever charged this before!) increased the price by another 59EUR / 20% (on top of the advanced booking fee I’d already paid). Drop off smoother and car was fine.

Make sure the named driver has a credit card. A visa card will cost you loads. Make sure you do not touch the floor when returning the car if cleaned it will cost 50 euro. Make sure you carry the car from the garage after filling or it will cost 50 euro. I paid nearly double the price of the rental. No hidden charges? Oh and had to pay 40 euros to get someone to charge me this at 4-30 in the morning. Won't be using again ever.

Ich war 6 Minuten (!!) nach Ende der Karrenzzeit zum Abholen des Autos am Schalter und hatte sogar vorher angerufen. Trotzdem hat man mir einen kompletten Tag Automiete dafür mehr berechnet. Ich empfinde das schlichtweg als Unverschämtheit. Und Achtung, wenn man das Auto außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten (8:00-20:00) zurückgeben muss, werden auch dafür saftige 80.-€ berechnet! Schlüsselbox gibt es keine.

Agence à fuir absolument. C’est de l’arnaque pure et simple je ne comprends pas qu’on puisse arnaquer les touristes alors que sans les touristes leur agence n’existerait pas. Je réserve une voiture pour huit jours au mois de juillet pour 337€. Jusque-là tout va bien je trouve ça franchement pas cher. Il était ensuite question que je paye une caution de 1700 € en arrivant sur place pour récupérer la voiture. Malheureusement ma carte bancaire ne passe pas je me bats pendant une heure avec mon banquier au final en lisant tous les commentaires, je me demande si ce n’est simplement pas déjà une arnaque à ce moment-là puisque mon banquier me certifie que ma carte bancaire n’a aucun souci. J’ai voulu essayer avec la carte bancaire de mon mari, l’agence refuse parce que soi-disant la réservation est à mon nom alors que mon mari et moi sommes mariés et avons le même nom, aucun effort pour aider le client. Je lui demande ce que j’ai comme option, il me dit, qu’il peut me conseiller son assurance à 230€. Je ne suis pas persuadée que ce soit la meilleure solution mais après 1h30 au guichet, je me dis que je vais prendre cette assurance. Il était encore question que je prenne une option deuxième conducteur et que je paye un surplus, parce que je vais rendre la voiture à Split. Lorsqu’il me tend le terminal de carte bancaire honnête comme je suis, je lui dis surtout n’oubliez pas l’option, deuxième conducteur et le dépôt de la voiture à Split. Il me sourit et me dit qu’il m’offrait l’option deuxième conducteur. Nous voilà en route avec la voiture, je reçois un mail avec la facture et le contrat. Alors surprise l’assurance à 230 €, c’est du hors-taxes et il faut rajouter 25 % de TVA j’aimerais quand même signaler qu’entre professionnels on parle de montant hors-taxes mais d’un professionnel à un particulier on parle en toutes taxes comprises! Ceci est déjà une embrouille ensuite il m’a facturé l’option deuxième conducteur, il s’est ouvertement moqué de moi ! C’est pas fini, on me facture un nettoyage de la voiture 9,60 € hors-taxes et 56 € d’essence hors-taxes. Or dans le contrat qui est joint il faut que je rende la voiture avec le plein, j’ai en vain essayé de leur faire des mails pour savoir si je devais faire le plein ou pas vu que je venais de payer de l’essence, aucune réponse si le plein n’est pas fait, je vais payer de l’essence plus des frais de 35 € pour la personne qui va devoir aller faire le plein. Arrivés à Split, je leur explique tout ça et leur demande de me rembourser l’essence puisque j’ai rendu la voiture avec le plein, on me dit que malheureusement c’est perdu je n’avais qu’à la rendre à sec! Leurs méthodes très douteuses sont bien ficelées! Fuyez cette agence! Votre réponse ne changera rien à mon opinion sur votre agence. Et la pub vous a été faite, le sujet est clos, vous êtes des mauvais et des menteurs

Dear fellow Tourist, Avoid this company. They'll sell you overpriced insurance that's useless. A deductible of a whopping €500. When you pick up the car, they'll do everything they can to appear nonchalant. They'll laugh off all sorts of little blemishes and scratches. They'll say they're part of the deal. Within 30 seconds, you'll get the keys and have to leave. Returning the car is a completely different story. They'll seriously examine the car with a magnifying glass. You guessed it. Now the blemishes and scratches are a problem. A whopping €220 for two spots they claim were my fault. My request for proof that these spots weren't there received no response other than the response that it was a new car. Everything is new at first, people, that's not a good argument. Of course, it's not possible to get an invoice from a body shop. What a shame that they've implemented this as a business practice. In the meantime, we have made initial contact with the local police to report fraud.

Wir hatten online einen Mietwagen gebucht und wollten ihn am Flughafen abholen. Leider wurde unsere Kreditkarte nicht akzeptiert, weil sie von einer Online-Bank stammt. (Es war keine Debitkarte!) Nach langem hin und her (sehr unfreundlich übrigens!) mussten wir eine Zusatzversicherung über knapp 160 Euro dazu buchen, dann wurde die Kreditkarte nicht mehr für die Kaution benötigt. Jetzt kommt das Lächerliche: die Zusatzversicherung konnte selbstverständlich von der Kreditkarte abgebucht werden. So ärgerlich - nie mehr wieder Avia!

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL, AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, THEY RIP YOU OFF AND CHARGE YOU MORE AT EVERY CHANCE THEY CAN. We arrived a week ago and picked up our car at the airport, upon arrival, they charged us an extra €40 for picking up the car out of ours, which, come on man, its an airport, of course people are gonna show up at 1 o'clock in the morning, we were then charged €152 for extra insurance that we paid for already online, right whatever, paid it, 7 days later at the airport today, we go to give the car back, in immaculate condition, looked exactly the same as when we picked it up, €16 for cleaning the car, this is absolutely ridiculous, this is the problem with these hire car companies, charge you at ever chance they can get, a bargain car deal changed into over 1000 pounds like that 🫰. Stay away from these guys, scammers and fraudsters, ridiculous, going with hertz or enterprise next time. And for the Avia team that's gonna reply to this, don't try and blame this on your policy, your policy is stupid, this should not cost so much, you charge people more at every chance you get just to squeeze as much out of us loyal customers as you can.

Really bad experience. At the airport they charged me again money for the insurance. Both of my credit cards (which I use all over the world) where not accepted. I have many experience with rental cars, this one was the worst to be honest. I have a gold membership for travel insurances / cars etc. But here it only was possible to pay in cash??? They also charged me for cleaning the car- wtf??? It was like new when I gave it back. I was very upset to have this experience and will think about legal steps.

Wszystko ok. Samochód wynajmowany wieczorem w trakcie burzy więc o dokładnym oglądaniu nie było mowy. Na maila otrzymujesz zdjęcia uszkodzeń ( auto 3 letnie więc lista jest dość długa) następnie możesz dodać swoje zdjecia jeśli znajdziesz dodatkowe uszkodzenia.Do zwrotu po prostu odkurzony wewnątrz i umyty. Nie było zadnych problemów przy zwrocie pojazdu. Czytając opinie mam wrażenie że ludzie chcieliby aby firma wynajmowała im nowe auto za 300euro a następnie totalnie nie zwracała uwagi w jakim stanie jest oddawane. Wypożyczalnia to czyjś biznes a nie akcja charytatywna. Ja nie mam uwag, jeśli Ty jesteś fair wobec firmy, wątpię aby wystąpiły problemy

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Car Hire Company! Rented a car in Zadar, Croatia, and it was a complete rip-off. For what we got – definitely not worth the money. On top of that, the staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful, making the whole process stressful from the start. The worst part? They charged us a cleaning fee even though the car was spotless when we returned it. Felt like a scam to squeeze more money out of us. We also tried to resolve the issue with the manager" Ivan " but unfortunately, that was a waste of time. While he was trying to be polite on the surface, he offered no help, took no responsibility, and clearly had no interest in customer service wats so ever Avoid this company if you want a smooth, honest, and professional rental experience – there are far better options available. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, MANAGER IS IN A WRONG JOB

Dobre ceny. Nowe, porządne samochody. Sprawnie i szybko. Chętnie dałbym pięć gwiazdek ale na koniec przykra niespodzianka. Mimo że samochód był umyty i wysprzątany to pobrano opłatę za sprzątanie. Na pytanie co i gdzie jest brudne odpowiedzi nie dostałem. Brudne i już i opłatę pobieramy. Więc trzeba się liczyć że dodatkowa opłata za sprzątanie będzie pobrana zawsze, niezależnie od czystości samochodu. Po prostu taki oszukańczy model biznesowy. Trochę nie rozumiem właścicieli firmie, że dla kilku dodatkowych euro ryzykują negatywne opinie od niezadowolonych klientów. Ogólnie nie polecam bo nie lubię tego typu naciągania

Wszystko ok. Auto zarezerwowałem przez discovercars.com Nowa Skoda Scala Odbiór, kaucja sprawnie i bez problemu. Dokupiłem mycie za 9 euro, dzięki czemu nie myślałem na urlopie o myjni czy odkurzaniu w upale. Zwrot auta sprawny i bezproblemowy. Dziękuję Luka (pracownikowi AVIA). Mieliśmy udany urlop. Szerokiej drogi! Sretan put!
