Gute Lage allerdings keine 500€ pro Nacht wert. Hier stimmt die Preisleistung leider gar nicht. Frühstück schlechter als Mc Donalds. Der Architekt der Zimmer war wohl eine Niete. Wir haben das größte Zimmer gebucht, welches durch eine Wand getrennt war, somit zwei viel zu kleine Zimmer und im Bad ein Tür Begrenzer am Boden, bei dem man sich seine Zehen bricht. Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer eine Fehlkonstruktion genau wie die Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Zu wenige liegen am Pool für alle Gäste. Parkplatzsituation Katastrophe. Aber auch ich möchte den netten Herrn aus Indonesien besonders loben - er schmeißt den Laden beinahe ganz allein und macht einen super Job. Sehr hilfsbereit, sieht alles und ist sofort zur Stelle wenn man Hilfe braucht. Ich denke, er sollte Unterstützung bekommen, damit er nicht alles alleine machen muss. Wir waren schon in mehreren small luxury hotels of the world aber dieses war das schlechteste.

Great hotel in Novigrad/Cittanova. Beautiful building and location. Very friendly and attentive staff. Excellent breakfast. 10-15 minute walk to town. 2 minute walk to the beach. Great drinks and food. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

A lovely boutique hotel overlooking the marina in Novigrad. Our room was quiet, lovely, well appointed with a terrace. The breakfast was really good with lots of choice and great coffee. Marina and the rest of the staff were really friendly and helpful.

Wir waren für 4 Tage in diesem Hotel. Die Anlage ist wirklich sehr schön gestaltet und überall war es sauber und gepflegt – das hat uns gut gefallen. Allerdings habe ich in dieser Preiskategorie schon bessere Hotels erlebt. Bereits im Vorfeld hatte ich per E-Mail eine Frage zur Parksituation gestellt, auf die ich leider nie eine Antwort erhalten habe – das war enttäuschend und nicht sehr serviceorientiert. Das Frühstücksbuffet war in Ordnung und bot eine solide Auswahl, aber es war nichts Besonderes oder Herausragendes. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich den freundlichen Kellner aus Indonesien – er war jederzeit aufmerksam, herzlich und hat mit seinem Service wirklich einen sehr guten Eindruck hinterlassen. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt mit kleineren Schwächen.

Sehr hochwertiges und edles Hotel im Kolonialstil mit wenig Zimmern und dadurch sehr exklusiv. Die Zimmer sind immer sehr sauber und die Frühstücksvarianten sind sehr vielseitig trotz nicht überladenen Frühstücksbuffet. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend hilfsbereit und spricht viele Sprachen. Kleiner aber wunderschön gestalteter Spa-Bereich und einem einfach gehaltenen und doch sehr funktionellen Gym Bereich. Äußerst empfehlenswert!

Wonderful, wonderful stay at this hotel. So glad we were made aware of it via their participation in Mr&Mrs Smith. Nice 15 min walk from the main/busy part of Novigrad and the marina, and from the hotel, get an amazing view of the marina, city, and sea. Rooms were clean, elegant, and comfortable (although read at the end about our 1 issue). Loved having a balcony to sit on to enjoy the views. The staff was great, especially Mariana who helped us with massage appointments (and Sara, their outside masseuse was outstanding), recommendations for an Olive Oil tour, and was so thoughtful in arranging a "lunch box" of sandwiches & fruit for our early morning departure. In the morning it was such a treat to be served by Ben who was the nicest person in the world (by the way, the Eggs Benedict were heaven on a plate) and he took care of us every morning (and knew exactly how to make a double espresso latte that made my wife smile at the first sip). I can't overstate how perfect this place was in terms of location, being close enough to enjoy or step away from business of Novigrad, and use as a 'basecamp' for the stuff we did in the area. If you get a massage, ask for Sara..she was wonderful and does them in the "massage room" at the hotel. Our only issue is that when we visited this May, the AC wasn't turned on yet...every day they said it would get done, and on the last day they said it was on, however our room never got cool...so we had to sleep with the doors open, and unfortunately we could hear the boom-boom of the techno music from the Lighthouse festival all night long.

We stayed in Novigrad at the end of a walking holiday, and Palazzo Rainis was an excellent place to relax after a week of walking. Located a ten minute walk from Novigrad centre, close to the harbour, it offered solitude and a short walk for restaurants, bars and the like.|Our high-ceilinged room was spacious and overlooked the harbour. The large bathroom had a walk in shower and Rituals products.|The hotel staff were excellent, and we had a massage in the spa which was wonderful. The outdoor pool (chilly!) and surrounding space was perfect for an afternoon drink and some quiet time. The hotel also arranged a boat for us for a day, and transfers from Lovran and to Trieste airport.

Super Hotelzimmer, perfekte Lage mit gutem Frühstück und freundlichen Personal! Wenn man aber Ablagen in der Dusche oder Kleiderhacken im Vorzimmerbereich benötigt, sucht man vergebens..... Das SPA war im Preis inkludiert. Obwohl wir in der Früh die Benützung für den Abend bekannt gaben, war es mit 21Grad Wassertemperatur im Jacuzzi und kalter Sauna und Saunabreich etwas zu kalt ... Das Servicepersonal meinte, es ist eh alles ok!?!? Anscheinend hat das Personal den Heizungsschalter nicht benützen dürfen.....

Wir haben hier wunderbare Tage verbracht. In einem kleinen, luxuriösen Hotel. Die Kombination aus alt und neu ist fantastisch gelungen. Service ist ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück ebenso. Die Aussicht zum Hafen ist traumhaft. Ruhige Lage. Kostenloser Parkplatz ist vorhanden. Die Innenstadt ist in 10 bis 15 zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We went to Palazzo Rainis for our wedding. After the wedding ceremony we ate at Chemistry restaurant where the food and staff were absolutely amazing. The hotel reception workers were also very helpful and super nice. We will definitely be returning to Palazzo Rainis

Organizirali smo večeru u hotelu za sebe i kumove odmah nakon našeg vjenčanja (2. 5. 2025.). Družili smo se od 18 do 24 na teresi hotela - hrana i piće su bili odlični, usluga fenomenalna. Cijeli vikend je prošao odlično (2. 5. - 4. 5.), djelatnici hotela stvarno su učinili sve da naš odmor prođe najbolje moguće. Konobar Ben je sjajan. Doručak je prefin, sadržaji u hotelu su super - vanjski bazen i priroda oko hotela, dvije saune i jacuzzi, teretana sasvim dovoljna da se napravi kvalitetan trening. Sobe dovoljno velike, iznimno čiste, lijepe i luksuzne. Krevet velik, pogled s balkona savršen - bilo da izaberete pogled na bazen i dvorište hotela ili pogled s balkona na marinu (on je privatniji i intimniji). Bez zamjerke, sigurno se vraćamo!

Great location by the marina and an easy walk to town. Lovely room and fab breakfast. Very friendly staff and a big shout out to Ben. We enjoyed a very good massage which we booked a day in advance. Has its own car park in front of hotel and pool with loungers.

Wunderschöne elegante kleine Hotelanlage (nur 16 Zimmer) mit geschmackvoller high end Einrichtung, alle Farbein sind perfekt abgestimmt - reizvoller Blick auf den Yachthafen u nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von Novigrads Zentrum entfernt. Wir hatten ein herrliches Abendessen und Ben sorgte für ein aufmerksames Service - Marinierter Octopus, Wolfsbarsch (der Beste!!) u Cheesecake waren ganz besonders. Zum Frühstück bedient nan sich am Delikatessenbuffet und zusätzlich werden Gerichte a la carte angeboten. Kleines sehr chickes Hotel-Spa mit 2 Saunen, Whirlpool u Fitnessraum inkl Erfrischungsbar. Wir kommen sicher wieder und werden den Palazzo Rainis allen Genussmenschen, die das Besondere lieben, weiterempfehlen! Dankeschön für diese positiven Emotionen u Erlebnisse!

Cool boutique hotel in Novigrad. ||Hotel Employees are very friendly. Rooms are large and very comfortable. We had a view over the water. Breakfast was a large buffet with anything and everything you would expect in a 5 star hotel. ||Hotel arranged a truffle hunting tour inland that was lot of fun. They also arranged dinner at the local Michelin restaurant that was hard to get into. ||We ate at the Hotel and go for the Truffle risotto. Overall the food was excellent. ||Walk around the perimeter of the town on the water, there's not much beach on the town side but over the years, the wharfs have been build up and there are little swimming pools built out of the stone. North of the hotel, you can do a 5 mile walk up the coast. Couple places to stop and get a drink. ||Nice place to stay, great sea food and truffles.
