Sehr schönes Hotel. Der Außenpool ist leider zu überlaufen, sodass es gegen Mittag oft keine freien Liegen gibt.

Beautiful, modern hotel in Rovinj. You are met at the door, car was parked for us. We were extremely fortunate to get an upgrade to a suite, I wondered if it was related to booking directly with hotel. Suite was extremely spacious and so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. Staff were very helpful and approachable. 15 minute walk along the waterfront to the centre of Rovinj. Would highly recommend Hotel Lone if visiting Rovinj.

Das Hotel Lone ist wirklich das beste Hotel in Rovinj. Die Zimmer sind einfach großartig, die Lage ist ideal – nur etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß über eine schöne Promenade direkt am Meer in die Stadt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Das Frühstück bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt. Der Old-Fashioned an der Bar ist einfach klasse. Ich freue mich schon auf nächstes Jahr! :-)

Empfehlenswert Das Hotel überzeugt mit einer super Lage, direkt am Strand, ideal für entspannte Tage am Meer. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das sehr freundliche Personal, das den Aufenthalt angenehm und persönlich gestaltet. Insgesamt eine perfekte Wahl für einen erholsamen Urlaub.

Unser erster 5* Urlaub, somit fehlt mir eventuell der Vergleich. Was ich aber sagen kann: - Top Service - TOP Zimmer (wir hatten Premium mit Blick auf den Park) - Exzellentes Frühstücksbuffet - Ausgezeichneze ruhige Lage, ca 15min zur Altstadt Der Strand ist tlw öffentlich, aber ausreichend groß, der Pool ist exklusiv für Hotelgäste. Die Restaurants sind sehr gut, das japanische Tekka hervorragend aber leider sehr teuer - man gönnt sich ja sonst nix :) Auch unser Hund war überall willkommen und wurde gut umsorgt. Unterm Strich sicher der beste Urlaub meines Lebens, und wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were all very helpful, lovely breakfast buffet each day and very nice rooms. ||Pools were great and we always were able to easily get a sun lounger for a family of 4.||20 minute walk into town with great restaurants shops and vibe.||Thank you for a lovely last 4 nights of our trip. Would very happily stay again!

Second visit to Lone Hotel and we're glad we made the choice to return. Whilst the hotel itself is great, in particular the architecture and interior design, the location is the thing that takes some beating. Not only is Rovinj simply stunning, the presence of the Maistra hotel group in the area means that everywhere is very much invested in. Further, Lone sits right next to the extensive wooded national park, which is a wonderful juxtaposition to the urban area.

Beautiful hotel and grounds with great pool area and fabulous beach. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, and the staff were amazing. Excellent spa facilties, including a relaxation area, which was very peaceful. Only minor gripe is that hot food options were tepid, which detracted from an otherwise excellent breakfast. Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The hotel is an architectural gem blended into the foliage of the Rovinj countryside. We were upgraded to rooms with an outdoor jacuzzi tub spanning the length of the patio, which was a perfect touch to soak in. I don't know if this is a European thing, but we've now been in several jacuzzis in Italy and now Croatia, and the water is not hot like it is in the U.S., which we prefer. The rooms were spacious and inviting and the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The shower has great water pressure and has a spa feel. The food at the main pool restaurant, Oleander, was fantastic amd our server, Maurisio was very friendly. The drawbacks were that they charge you for water from mini bar, they didn't clean my room and even put a door hanger out saying that I had requested they don't, which I didn't, and while the breakfast buffet is absolutely beautiful with amny options, the hot food is very cold and items such as the French toast, sausages, potato hash, etc were very hard as if sitting for hours. I had an omelet made to order one day, which is the way to go as the scrambled eggs and fried eggs were cold even sitting under a heat lamp, so that was disappointing. All in all, a beautiful property though.

Arriving at the hotel we were not disappointed. What a sight ! The spaceship like design was something to behold. Check in was perfunctory and reasonably friendly. Our rooms were perfectly decent with an enormous bed and large bathroom. Some minor issues with the rooms were a little irritating. Our shower leaked through the screen into the bathroom so we had to block the flood with towels. Even though it was super hot we were restricted to just 1 bottle of water a day ! The receptionist looked at me like I was mad when I asked for a second. Our other room was constantly infested with ants. At no stage did they suggest a different room or offer an apology. Indeed at one stage they suggested it was our fault for having food in the room ! The coffee area was very dirty and not replenished for two days. |The pool area was excellent and it was never difficult to get a lounger. The staff at the bar were almost friendly and the prices for drinks were good. The water was a little odd as it was very salty which tasted terrible and hurt your eyes. |The spa and kids room were excellent so overall facilities were great. The service at the main bar was okay. We almost got a smile on occasion ! The breakfast was certainly the highlight with a brilliant range for all tastes and very friendly staff. Also it goes on until midday - amazing !! We didn’t try the restaurants in the hotel as they were very expensive. |Finally, the proximity to the spectacular town and very busy beach was fantastic. All in all a really good hotel but with a few touches could be truly amazing.

We visited your hotel for the second year in a row and once again had a wonderful stay. We are very happy with the overall experience – the hotel is clean, the staff is super friendly, and the offer for kids is fantastic. It really feels like great value for money. There is just one point we would like to kindly share as feedback. Both this year and last year, we noticed that the quality of the omelette at breakfast was unfortunately not good. It had little taste, and in both years, it even seemed like the eggs used were not fresh. We also noticed (and even took a photo) that the eggs served are “Category 3” – which means they come from caged hens. We believe that a hotel of your standard should consider using higher quality eggs, ideally from free-range or organic sources. This would really make a difference for the guests and also reflect your otherwise high standards. Thank you again for a great stay – and we hope this feedback helps improve things even more!
