I don’t understand all the other negative reviews. The AC was fine, the location was very central, checkin and checkout were without problems and the place was clean. It is small, but the bed is comfortable and the place is cheap. The only inconvenience is the bathroom door that is very shallow.

Avoid this place – we were threatened and left stranded! We booked La Perla Luxury Apartments through Booking.com, paid in full, and arrived at the property as scheduled — only to be told that our reservation was "cancelled" because they had overbooked. The host refused to honour our booking and threatened to call the police unless we left the apartment immediately. The refund is still in progress. I strongly advise against booking this property.

We were lucky enough not to be scammed, so we got our desired apartment. The rooms were pretty good, and the facilities were modern. Alas, there were two major flaws, which drag the rating down: - For some reason, the owners shut off the Wi-Fi at 10:00pm every night, and it comes back on around 8:00am. Not sure why they do this, but I lost connection on a WhatsApp call I was on because of it. Really weird. - I was in a room at the top of the building, which had a large, rectangular window right above my bed. This wouldn’t have been an issue if there was a blind/ curtain on it, but alas, it was the ONLY window without one. So, unless you want to be woken up at 4:00am when the sun rises, you’ll have to create a makeshift blind. I managed to make one, out of a towel and tea towel, which I forked between the window after opening it. Possibly the dumbest design I’ve ever seen in a hotel. However, the apartment was clean. Location excellent. 3 stars.
