Always a phenomenal time at Four Seasons. A perfect spot for a romantic downtown getaway or staycation. Wonderfully walkable (weather permitting) to some lovely downtown spots. Don’t skip dinner at ToroToro and a room service breakfast is an absolute must. The staff is always above and beyond. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The staff was amazing! They truly went above and beyond to ensure a great stay. It might have been because I visited during Labor Day weekend, but downtown got a bit noisy at night. Consider requesting a room facing away from the street for a quieter experience.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday recently with an overnight weekend staycation at the Four Seasons Houston. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend! We've stayed at several Four Seasons properties spanning Maui, Whistler, and Beverly Hills, and I have to say the service at this location was one of the best experiences we've had. The staff was extremely caring, kind, and accommodating for any needs, including proactively texting with me ahead of our stay to arrange some balloons, cake and champagne for my wife's birthday. We went to an Astros game which was an easy walk from the hotel, then returned after for a late dinner at Toro Toro and drinks after at the speakeasy Bandista. Highly recommend staying here and thanks to all members of the crew for making it an extremely enjoyable stay and a memorable birthday for my wife!

The food is still very good but after 30 years, many of the staff their solely for a paycheck, are constantly pocket diving us & smear if we aren't dumping bags of money at their less than professional feet! 😂 The professionals complain to me that those staff members who are simply there to collect a check & gossip about those of us who make our money by actually earning it (in deed & temperament), make it difficult for them to stay in the hospitality industry... Given the plague of disdain for customers & real human decency.

If you want to brand yourself as the four seasons then you absolutely have to give over the top service. I showed up for an event and was asked a immediately if I was checking in or not. I told them yes :-) I went upstairs to the venue and Michael was awesome at getting us to our seats for the Ben Jackson magic and mayhem show on the third floor. The show was very personal and extremely fabulous!! Would love to show an hour before our reservation time at Toro Toro. The beginning of the service was five star. After that things kind of fell apart. Our appetizers showed up early so we were unable to understand the smoked avocado. The swordfish ceviche was really good. I ordered the red snapper and my friend decided to take the Houston restaurant week selection. My food was three out of five star based on the location and the pricing. My friend did not even finish her salmon because it was overcooked. Our server delivered the appetizers way too early especially when we asked him to not bring them until we got back from the lady's room. Overall I can only give this a three star based on my experiences with other downtown level restaurants at this price.
