Unfortunately, our experience at this place was disappointing – despite the beautiful surroundings and a nice hotel. Upon arrival, our room wasn’t ready even though we checked in after the official check-in time. Later, we were told to move rooms due to a wedding. This meant we had to pack and relocate early Friday morning, right before our planned day trip to Venice. The new room had a broken shower drain, and we had to use a shared hallway bathroom for two days. Even though we reported the issue on Saturday and were promised help on Sunday, no one showed up until Monday – when we were moved to a third room. During our stay, there was a wedding taking place at the hotel. On the day we had planned to relax by the pool, we were told – with only 30 minutes' notice – that we had to leave the pool area for the rest of the day. The wedding party had taken over most of the hotel, but we didn’t feel we were in the way and chose to stay, as we are paying guests and had every right to use the facilities. Additionally, the owner confronted us for sitting outside our room with a glass of our own wine – even though we had also tried and enjoyed theirs. We weren’t at the restaurant, just in front of our room, but were still told it was not allowed. The interaction felt uncomfortable, and we didn’t feel welcome. When we mentioned this, we were offered a bottle of wine as an apology, which we politely declined. Be aware: If there’s a wedding during your stay, it’s clear that the wedding guests will be prioritized, and your experience as a regular hotel guest may suffer as a result. That said, the woman serving breakfast was truly wonderful – warm, attentive, and made us feel seen and appreciated every morning. She was a highlight of our stay and deserves recognition. Overall, a beautiful setting – but unfortunately not the welcoming or relaxing experience we had hoped for.

Trotz Buchung 6 Monate im voraus keine Garantie, dass man auch das bekommt was einem bestätigt wurde. Obwohl wir vor 6 Monaten 2 Zimmer für jeweils 4 Nächte gebucht hatten (es war keine Buchung über eine Plattform, sondern der gesamte Vorgang hat mit ausführlicher Korrespondenz, genauer Auswahl der Zimmer etc stattgefunden), wurde uns gerade 2 Wochen vor Antritt des Aufenthalts mit einem lapidaren Email mitgeteilt, dass man uns "auf Grund eines technischen Fehlers" leider nur eine Nacht weniger und auch nur kleinere Zimmer anbieten könne. Eine Nacht sollten wir überhaupt in einem anderen Hotel verbringen (diese Kosten wären übernommen worden..., aber wer will das?) Ein gesamtes Reiseprogramm für 2 Familien musste deswegen umgeplant werden und 2 Wochen davor ein neues Hotel gefunden werden. Extrem unprofessionell und sehr ärgerlich wegen einer derartigen Unzuverlässigkeit gesamte Reisepläne ändern zu müssen. Ich habe bereits einmal vor einigen Jahren 2 Zimmer für 1 Woche belegt aber nun sieht mich dieses Hotel nie wieder und ich empfehle auch jedem eine andere Unterkunft zu suchen. Man wird als Gast nicht wertgeschätzt und jede 2 Sterne Pension in Grado verhält sich professioneller im Umgang mit Gästen!

Ci siamo stati qualche mese fa: una sola parola ... "spettacolare" !!! All'esterno c'è anche una osteria con prodotti tipici del territorio dove si mangia divinamente. La collina di Buttrio dove è posizionato l'hotel si presta a passeggiate e corse con vista sulla pianura friulana. È una posizione baricentrica per visitare Udine ed i Colli Orientali: secondo me la zona più bella del Friuli Venezia Giulia !!!
