Many employees (from reception to the pool bar) could use training in customer service. I can’t say if it was because our group spoke English or if it’s only Croatians who are welcomed here.
My husband was very happy with the diving center.
The receptionist didn’t seem happy to help us at all, the welcome drinks were such a joke( 4 or 5 cocktails) upon asking if we can get nonalcoholic versions we got almost laughed at. My friend took cuba libre with alcohol in the end and got served cheap cola with ice with no rum or anything else. I payed 5 EUR for very flat water with a tiny hint of lemon called Elderflower lemonade 😃.
When I asked about any sparkling wine from the menu I was told that they don’t have and they sell only whole bottle while the waiter said “I am sure you won’t want that” in a way suggesting I can’t afford it.
On the other hand a bartender called Pat up by the bar in the lobby had an amazing customer attitude and did his best to find a way to accommodate us. The activity stuff was also very pleasant and they made sure we enjoy the daily activities (morning rutine and so on).

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. This is supposed to be a 4-star experience, but in reality, it is barely a 1-star stay — and even that feels generous.||Let me start by saying: the pictures are completely misleading. What looks sleek, modern, and comfortable online is nothing like what you’ll find when you arrive. This is the kind of place that proves why reading reviews is absolutely essential before booking anything.||Don’t be fooled by the glossy photos. If you care about cleanliness, convenience, or even basic hospitality, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This hotel needs a full inspection and a serious reassessment of its so-called star rating.

Perfect stay. We had an issue with the reservation dates, and they handled it quickly and without any trouble. Super helpful, always attentive, and the service was top-notch. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Our experience was far below expectations.||Staff: Severely understaffed, often rude or unhelpful. We frequently had to set our own tables and ask for basic items like glasses and cutlery.||Beach & Safety: The hotel beach is neglected – overflowing bins, dirty decks, and no staff to maintain order. Glassware was used at the beach bar, causing broken glass hazards. No changing cabins.||Food: Very poor selection, repetitive and of low quality – mostly reheated frozen food. Seafood was almost non-existent. Messy, sticky tables often left uncleared; coffee machines frequently empty. No ice cream available despite being a family hotel during day.||Cleanliness: Rooms not cleaned regularly, towels not replaced even after repeated requests. Dining area visibly dirty; chairs old and sticky.||Maintenance: Our room had broken doors, faulty lights, and AC issues. Mini golf and parking were in bad condition.||General impression: The hotel feels disorganized, as if not ready for the season. Staff at reception seemed disconnected from operations.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I honestly don’t understand how this place is rated as a 4 Star hotel, as it falls far below the expected standards. We stayed there for a week on a half-board basis, and here’s what we experienced:||1. The reception staff were extremely inexperienced and irresponsible. They responded to almost every request with “we can’t” or “that’s not possible,” unless you insisted firmly.||2. Despite our repeated requests, our room was only cleaned three or four times during the entire week. The last time, they didn’t even change the towels or empty the trash bin. Overall, the cleanliness of the rooms was unsatisfactory. Torn towels and bed linens? Let’s not even go there!!!||3. The air conditioning system kept breaking down, and they completely ignored our maintenance requests.||4. I asked for an iron at the reception, and they told me, “We don’t have an iron here!” — in 4 star hotel!||5. I ordered a cocktail at the bar and was willing to pay for it, but they told me that cocktails are only available for All-inclusive guests!||6. Several items listed on the bar menu, such as tequila, simply didn’t exist in reality — they were just on paper.||7. The hotel grounds are vast and beautiful, but the management, guest service, and overall hospitality are among the worst I’ve seen. I will definitely not go there again, and I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone expecting decent service, respectful treatment, or a stress-free stay.

Although there was a lovely selection at all meals, the food was always stone cold. Cold fried eggs, scrambled eggs, meat.....not pleasant at all.||There was no waiter service for drinks on the terrace or pool and the beach bar wasn’t all inclusive until the day we left. If we wanted a drink we had to walk from the pool or beach back up to the hotel. ||Very disappointing as we expected so much more

The Mini Club team was fantastic – kind, creative, and full of energy. Our child had so much fun every day with games, crafts, and activities.
Animation in general was well-organized and fun for all ages. Big thanks to the whole team for making our holiday even more special!

This a review from a couple, 1st June 2025|Our experience based on what we paid and expected from the hotel description, research and other reviews. If you know what the offer is and researched the location you will really not be disappointed! |We had an amazing relaxing 5 days in a very beautiful location, (as reflected by nearly all other reviews.) |We could not fault the hotel, it is exactly as described for meal times etc. beautiful view where ever you sit. We found the food to be fresh and plentiful. There were fresh fish and meat dishes every day, including grilled Swordfish, Bass, Tuna steaks, plus very good and tasty vegetarian options. The salads were fresh and varied. As with all buffet styles like this, if you time it right the food is hotter of course when first out, but that is not just at this hotel . The coffee machine worked well and is situated in the restaurant at meals. (we didn't drink much at the bar so can't comment too much on that) Every staff member we came across could not have been more friendly or helpful. If someone is a trainee on reception then give them a little patience rather than complain, they all did a great job. Room was cleaned every day and very comfortable, A/C / beds etc. The walk to Vrbroska was really nice and easy 20 mins or so, nice little bar reasonably priced with music just over the bridge. We hired bikes from the friendly beach club staff 1 minute walk away, cycled to Jelsa and Stari Grad and back in one day. We also hired a Kayak from them for a couple of hours, the sea was so calm it almost felt like you were on a lake. The prices for the inflatables seemed reasonable for families to enjoy, there wasn't anyone on them when we were there. Weather was a perfect 28 + deg and we even managed a swim in the calm clear water, which was much better than I had expected for temp! We didn't end up getting the bus we had planned to Hvar due to the time but the bus would be about 30 mins easy walk I think to the stop at Vrbroska. Ask about taxis at reception as I was surprised they quoted cheaper prices than I had been led to believe. Taxi from the port at StariGrad was 24 euros. All in all we really enjoyed a break from it all, just enough to do but also time for relaxation in a gorgeous setting. Yes, there are things that could possibly be improved in parts of the grounds at the front and crazy golf to spruce up, colourful planting etc but then it would make it a less affordable location that we probably could not have enjoyed. So think about the type of hotel it is and your budget and I don't think you will be disappointed.|We stayed in Split a couple of days and booked the ferry the day before we needed it, it was seamless, well run, about 1hr 50 mins pretty ferry crossing, enjoyed as part of the holiday. There are also a few luggage drops near the port if you have time to spare out or return. Also the shuttle bus from the airport was really easy, ran on time and takes about 30 mins, stops directly opposite the ferry terminal.|Thanks Aminess staff!

Hotel u 2025 godini zaobilazite!

Edit: podczas trwania pobytu zmienili zasady dostępności do napojów 🤷♂️
Klimatyzacja w pokojach dwa razy działa, raz nie działa 🤷♂️
Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, kuchnia smaczna.

The resort looks nice and the staff are generally kind — but overall, the experience was disappointing.
I visited with close family members of different ages and genders, and none of us were satisfied. We all felt bored, disconnected, and stuck.
Main issues:
• Unreliable A/C: The air conditioning kept turning off randomly even when all doors were shut. We contacted reception several times. Maintenance came once, witnessed the issue, and said it’s affecting multiple rooms. It was never truly resolved.
• No life or energy: This was easily the most boring resort we’ve ever stayed in. After dark, the place is completely silent and pitch black. There’s nothing to do in the evening — no lights, no atmosphere, not even a place to sit and relax outside. It felt like a retirement home without the comfort.
• Totally isolated: There’s nothing nearby — no restaurants, no shops, no entertainment. You feel trapped, and every small errand becomes a mission.
• Beach and pool: The beach is rocky and uncomfortable, and the pool is forgettable. Trees block most sea views from the rooms and make the outdoor areas feel dark and uninviting at night.
• Not family-friendly: The nearest beach isn’t really appropriate for families. Nothing around makes up for the isolation.
Final thought:
This place might work for someone looking for pure silence and sleep, but if you’re hoping for a well-rounded vacation with even basic energy, variety, or access — this is not the place. We left wishing we’d stayed somewhere else and only visited this resort for a few hours, not days.

Fabulous resort. In the couple of weeks leading up to our holiday starting 4th May, I'd see some negative reviews for the resort. Having now spent the week there I think the bad reviews were as a result of poor research by the reviewer when booking the holiday and it being the first couples of weeks in the season for the resort and they weren't up and running. |The resort is great. Its not your big Costa de Sol type all inclusive hotel but of medium size resulting in a more refined all inclusive experience. For example meals are at certain times. There's no in-between meal snacks available and at the time we went, the Lobby bar was open most of the day and the Pool bar wasn't open. There is a little self service soft drinks/tea/coffee and wine counter available all day.|Getting to the resort does take a while. The ferry runs to a time table so that might mean you have to wait 2 or 3 hours in Split. I saw one review complaining about this but really the old town is on the harbour too so see it as part of the holiday, drop your luggage off at the harbour storage and take in the sights before the ferry. The transfers themselves were seamless.||The clean rooms are more than large enough. I've stayed in bigger and I've stayed in smaller. The beds are really comfy. Beach towels are provided in your rooms with a fee if they are lost.|Just in the week we were there the guest numbers increased and so did the variety of food. The food was very good. A superb salad bar, normally a white meat and a red meat option plus a fish dish. Loads of vegetable choices. Pizza was available every day (but not my favourite). The pork option was always delicious and so too was any rice accompaniment. Breakfast was'the same every day. Plenty of fruit and cereal options, croissants, lovely bread and hot options including fried mushrooms and tomatoes. A seperate station provides a variety of egg options. The food wasn't always hot and with the plates not warmed I understand other comments that the food was cold. It just got cold quicker because of the plates. If you like your breakfast tea take tour own teabags, otherwise there's a variety of green and fruit teas available. ||The Solice beach is right next to the complex. Take a stroll around the peninsular and find one of the quiter. Take beach shoes or buy a pair at the resort shop. You'll need them. But don't just stick to the resort pool or the sunbeds by the shore. We followed the path to the left of buildings by the beach, over the crest of the peninsular to find a gorgeous cove 100 meters from the beach. Or follow the coastal path into Vrboska (about 30 minute slow stroll). Picturesque harbour village with bars, cafes, banks and a grocer shop.||There's a small gym and therapy centre offering massages. My wife highly recommends the hot stone massage.||The pool isn't the biggest about 15meters in length but big enough. The sea is right there. I can imaging during the hotter months the sea is the go to option. And I'm sure the fact the hotel and island is in a pine forest provides shade from the heat. I saw a complaint that the sea view room provide a view of the sea through trees. Again poor research I feel.|The final mention goes to the staff who were brilliant and made the stay very welcoming. In fact all the people on the island were so kind.||Would I go again. Yes but I would make sure I booked a hire boat in advance or planned a trip into one of the neighbouring towns via the bus and do some exploring.

The resort is in beautiful surroundings, next to a rocky beach and within pine trees. You won't hear much more here than the wind in the trees and the sound of the birds. Very relaxing and peaceful (in late May). I imagine it will be busier in July and August, although the cold pool and the cold sea water will be warmer in these months. The pool is not heated and is tough to enjoy in late May and the sea much the same. Refreshing at least! There is no ramp to reception, which made bringing our heavy cases in unpleasant. We did get help with one bag, but whether reception can help you would be down to luck, as they are often too busy to help. A very inhospitable place for non-able-bodied people, lots of steps and steep inclines. The resort is well furnished and modern. The room was modern and smallish, but adequate, with a lovely balcony with sea view. All the rooms seemed to have balconies with sea views. The wardrobe was very small and low down, with few hangers. Anyone with dresses and outfits that are long will find them draped on the floor. Not great. The shower was excellent and powerful. There was a fridge in the room, which was nice and something you don't always get in hotels. The food here is better than most all inclusive resorts. Lots of flavour in the food, you can tell the chefs make a real effort. If you like fish, the grilled mackerel is very nice and for meat eaters the meat balls were great. Lots of vegetarian options too. The white wine was ok, but the red wine was completely undrinkable. A real shame in a wine making island! The juice in the morning was also poor, clearly using powdered juice. The food at breakfast was good though, with lots of choice. The view outside from the restaurant will take your breath away, The drink situation is a sore subject, as they are not all included for all inclusive guests. Many drinks aren't included, like coffees and many fizzy drinks have to be paid for. There was no diet drinks included for all inclusive guests, which was a real issue for us, as my wife is diabetic. They did resolve the issue by setting aside some diet drinks for us. A big thank you to Martino and the Restaurant Manager for resolving this issue. It was very kind and showed excellent customer service. We had to show our room key card holder every time we wanted a drink, which was frustrating. It would be a good idea to give all inclusive guests a wristband, like other all inclusive resorts do. The beach bar did not serve any drinks to all inclusive guests, you had to pay, which was very annoying. We had to go the lounge bar every time we wanted a drink. The resort is not truly all inclusive and shouldn't have this title really. The spa is also not included in the all inclusive package. You have to pay for everything there. 64 euros to use the jacuzzi and sauna for two hours! That was with a discount! We never saw anyone in there and it's not surprising. The jacuzzi was one of the reasons we booked here. Misleading! Vrboska is a short 20 minute walk away and is worth a visit. It has some nice restaurants and bars. There are some great walks to be had in the area, along well maintained pathways. Beware of the nudist beach though, if you don't want to see that kind of thing. It's a long way off though. The staff are mostly helpful and friendly, you can tell they care about their guests. We did enjoy our stay, despite the issues detailed. If the negatives mentioned don't put you off and you want to get away from it all, within beautiful nature this is definitely the place for you.

This resort is under new ownership which we understand started this May. We arrived in the middle of May and daily noted improvements. ||Firstly, the food in the restaurant was really good and varied. There was always a selection of local and international dishes. We particularly enjoyed the local fish dishes. There were 6 separate self service food counters at every meal. Wine beer and soft drinks were available on tap during mealtimes. The wine was OK but the beer was good.||The pool was crystal clear and there are lots of activities to get involved in. Bicycle hire (which we loved for exploring the island), kayaks, paddle boards, mini golf, tennis, basket ball, spa and gym. As we were leaving an inflatable water activity island was being set up.||The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the air conditioning in our room and as it could not be fixed that day we were moved immediately to a new room.||The resort is in a stunning location with beautiful sea views. The nearby fishing village of Vrboska is a gentle 20 minute stroll along a coastal path. There you will find a good selection of bars and restaurants.||We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and and would recommend this resort.
