Upon my 11pm arrival, I took a look around, spoke to the other guests and decided to find alternate accomodation. The kitchen was dirty, the beds lacked any sort of ladder to climb to the upper bunks. My assigned locker was not large enough for a laptop back and the door came off when I went to close it. This wasn’t the only maintenance issue. The main light in the common area did not work and had not been fixed in a week (according to other guests) The bathroom appeared to not have been cleaned in multiple weeks and another guest that had been staying there said the most cleaning they’d seen in a week was some air fresher sprayed. According to the other guests the beds were very comfy but I was not willing to confirm. Each of the other guests that I spoke to (3 in total), each said that they would not stay there again if they ever returned to split. In some HostelWorld reviews that complained about the cleanliness, the host clapped back that they can’t expect so much from a cheap hostel. I rebooked at another hostel that was the same price and much, much cleaner. In some listings, it claims that there is a 24 hour reception. This is false. The 24 hour reception is the WhatsApp contact of the host. So no, I would not recommend it.

Je suis arrivée pour un séjour de 4 jours, je suis partie dès le lendemain. L’auberge est extrêmement sale, il y a des traces de moisissure sur les murs, le sols n’était pas nettoyé et plein de poussière et de saleté. Les toilettes m’ont dégouté. |Il y a de trous dans le mur.|Une des tais d’oreiller de mon lit (chambre privative) sentait le parfum d’une autre personne donc je pense qu’elle n’avait pas été changée. D’ailleurs, le draps housse était à l’envers, donc je pense qu’il a simplement été retourné entre deux clients au lieu d’être lavé. |J’ai payé la totalité du séjour mais le gérant (très sympa quand même) a annulé le séjour après mon départ. Je ne pouvais donc mettre aucune critique sur le site de réservation (Hostelworld). Si c’est à chaque fois comme ça que ça se passe, je comprends que l’auberge n’ait que des bonnes notes : les personnes qui partent ne peuvent pas évaluer leur séjour vu que le gérant l’annule.
