Can't say enough good things about this hotel and the staff. Thank you for your help with learning more about my Gottschee heritage. When checking in make sure you put the right time that you say you're going to come. The owner does not stay in the building and you have to call them to check you in which was a problem for me (an American) because I had no cell service.

My wife and I stayed 1 night, arriving by rental car at 1 PM and parking in their private lot. The friendly and informative owner registered our passports, gave the WIFI password, then carried our bag upstairs to our room explaining which keys opened the exterior door. ||Carpeted room #23 was spacious with 2 soft twins put together, an easy chair, closet, desk with small refrigerator, hot pot and TV with extensive channel guide (BBC/CNN/SKY in English), then a large fully outfitted bathroom with bidet, tub shower and instant hot water. ||Our opening windows faced the hotel’s courtyard with blackout curtains, additional coffee/tea were provided in the 1st floor hallway, but our room WIFI was slow at times.||The 7 AM breakfast in their lower restaurant was served with coffee, juice, fruit, cereals, yogurt, meats, cheese and breads with an array of compliments.||This 3 floor 1903 villa-hotel is located 1 block from a Mercator supermarket, 3 blocks from the town center and overall provided a pleasant stay.

Super mooie kamer, hele luxe douche met allerlei opties. Het ontbijt is simpel maar prima. De eigenaar spreekt erg goed Engels en is een super vriendelijke man. We hadden eigenlijk een andere datum geboekt maar door het weer wilde we graag omboeken, hij heeft dit allemaal voor ons op het laatste moment kunnen regelen. Ook heeft hij veel uitleg gegeven over de omgeving en voor ons een gids geboekt om beren te gaan spotten. ||Op loopafstand (als je straat van hotel uitloopt links op de hoek van de rotonde zit een erg lekker restaurant, wij hebben hier 2 dagen achter elkaar gegeten. Als je de straat uitloopt en naar rechts gaat zitten daar ook allerlei tentjes/winkeltjes.
