Ein wunderschönes und vielschichtiges Museum mit einer erstaunlichen Größe. Hier wird sehr viel die Geschichte Sloweniens und velenje sowie deren Kunst entwicklung beleuchtet. Sehr empfehlenswert. Den herrlichen Ausblick auf die Stadt gibt es gratis

Cel mai bine conservat muzeu din Slovenia. L-am vizitat cu mare placere si nu pe graba pentru ca ma avut ce vedea. In prezent gazduieste un muzeu de arta si cultura foarte bine organizat si aranjat cu numeroase galerii si colectii unice de arta. Situat pe deal se poate admira panorama orasului foarte bine. Tot aici au fost descoperite ramasitele a doi mastodonti. Ghida ne-a insotit in anumite locuri unde nu aveam acces. Probabil unii vizitatori nu vor sa vada toate incaperile si din aceasta cauza sunt inchise. In orice caz nu ne-a parut rau ca am vazut tot ce era vazut.

The Castle is very well worth visiting. We visited as a family with young kids. Very surprised by the amount of varied and interesting exhibitions. In particular the knowledgeable staff and guides working there who have an encyclopaedic level of knowledge of local and Slovenian history they are happy to share and answer all questions. When in Velenje, definitely worth a visit to this surprising castle.

Старинный замок с интересным музеем и замечательным видом на город Веленье. В музее интересная Африканская коллекция и останки настоящего мастодонта. Обязательно к посещению. Наверху возле замка бесплатная парковка.
