Unfortunately, my experience at Nook restaurant in Stari Grad on Hvar was far below expectations. The food we received was cold and poorly cooked – lacking flavor and clearly prepared without care. Realistically, the only thing it had going for it was the presentation – it looked great for Instagram, but that's about it. The bill at the end of the evening was surprisingly high considering the quality of the food. Honestly, I felt ripped off. The only positive aspect was the beautiful garden setting, but even that couldn't make up for the disappointment we experienced. I will never return. A nice atmosphere just isn't enough when everything else falls short!

Enjoyable food. Nice to have a fusion restaurant. I had the Tandoori chicken...in Croatia! It was good. The wine was lovely, the service was quick, friendly and helpful (they served the two of us before a group of twelve, which we appreciated). The atmosphere is lovely; secluded and quiet.

They prepare the rice in the morning and serve in the evening - it was not fresh at all, instead very dry. Completely overpriced.

I was really excited to come here as I saw there was mention of gluten free items on the menu, however when I went to order the vegan Thai green curry there was a €3 surcharge to make it gluten free, when I asked what this was for it was to remove the bread from the dish…the waitress kindly went and spoke to the owner to have this waived but a restaurant can’t charge you more money for less food it’s completely illogical. Gluten intolerance isn’t some trendy thing, it’s a very unfortunate medical condition and I do think this restaurant should be more sensitive towards that and not punish diners who are unable to consume gluten. The curry came and unfortunately it wasn’t the best, my friend had the chicken version and the sauce was thick and flavoursome, mine tasted quite bland and gloopy with very overcooked vegetables. The garden is really lovely and our waitress was also great but unfortunately I wouldn’t return here

Stvarno prerazocaravajuca hrana s obzirom na odlicne recenzije. Uzeli smo za van batat i tandoori chicken - batat nimalo posoljen, a tandoori chicken (koji nota bene kosta 18€!) UZASAN - riza presirova, a piletina suha ko barut. Steta zacina koji se osjete da su odlicni.
