Delicious homemade food. We tried the desi coconut, panang curry, pad see ew, and mango Lassi. Everything was delicious but the Desi coconut definitely stole the show. I'm curious about their pad thai now because the sweet and sour flavours were really good in the desi coconut. They also make the mango Lassi in house and bottle it themselves. It was delicious. The owner was very friendly too. Highly recommend! Great value as well. I think it was around 38euro for three entrees plus a drink.

a really amazing spot to curb your asian cravings. funny, entertaining & witty boss that cooks thai food super well. Great food and service at this little spot. Wasn’t very busy so had a great chat with THE Babu. Had my pad thai out of the container but feel like it didn’t do the flavours justice as it just trapped so much of the moisture and ‘wok hei’ heat in. Could’ve been a me problem with missing out on the flavours but I think I would’ve enjoyed this a lot more emptied out onto a plate.

Excellent value. Great wok flavor. Well made authentic dishes. Awesome energy from Babu that makes the wait more bearable. How he does it while working as hard as he does in that space I'll never know. I'm from Toronto with an Asian background and thus have pretty high standards toward this type of food. I never would have though that Ljubljana of all places would have some of the best I've had. Truly a hidden gem. Expect a long wait that is well worth it. Despite the fast cooking of a wok Babu has to make each order himself as the only one on the wok and he does it wonderfully. I hope in the near future he can find the finances, and talent comparable to his to expand his operation. Desi coconut pictured

I went here twice during my stay. It’s quick, but freshly made. It can be made with more spice if you ask for it, which I appreciated. I got the Pad Thai one night and the Pad See Ew another night. Although they were both good, I preferred the latter dish.

The chef was wonderful, welcoming and very helpful, explained everything to us and really made my day with his attitude ❤️ Apart from the outstanding service, the food was incredible (with huge portions), I loved the desi coconut curry, the pad see ew was great as well. We will definitely be returning to try the other dishes as well!

I ordered the pad see ew medium spicy. Really good. Portion size incredible taste as well. Only in Slovenia for a couple nights and I’m coming back here for the second night. It’s that good.

After traveling in Europe for a couple weeks, I was badly craving some spicy Asian food. I was really happy to find this place, especially because most other shops were closed on a Sunday night. The chef added some spice to my Pad Thai as requested, and he was so friendly that my day was instantly improved after a quick chat with him! I will say the Pad Thai didn’t taste very authentic to me. I think it is made with ingredients that are more local to Slovenia, rather than what you would find in Thailand. But it was still yummy in its own way and the portion is huge!!

came by to get some asian food bc the fam was homesick. the pad thai is authentic and delicious, portion size is big and halal! babu is a really nice guy and a warm personality in such a chilly city
