The vehicle was in great shape. However, after getting off our flightb at the airport we were told that the insurance that we already paid for (when pre booking through CAA back in canada) would not be recognized. Their addedd insurance then cost $800 above what we already paid! On top of that there were a number of other miscellaneous fees that were not expected. The rental became extremely expensive (well over $4,000) while we were in a position of having no other option. I would recommend thoroughly exploring the options with confirmations from the other side before booking an overseas vechile rental. They seemed to very much take advantage of the position tourists are in.

En la oficina de Zagreb fueron amabilísimos. Incluso nos recomendaros lugares que visitar. Contratamos el seguro a todo riesgo y menos mal, ya que tuvimos un percance por culpa de un tercero y la atencion telefonica y con los servicios técnicos fue muy buena. Elegimos la gama económica y el coche era un Opel Corsa con apenas 5000 kilometros, todo muy limpio y en estupendas condiciones.

Super Service, schnell und unkompliziert. Die Blockierung von 900€ auf der Kreditkarte wurde bereits 2 Stunden nach Abgabe des Wagens wieder aufgehoben. Alamo und Enterprise sind einfach unkompliziert. Versicherungen werden lediglich angeboten. Dann verringert sich auch das Deposit. Muss aber nicht genommen werden, wenn man über Check 24 das „rundum sorglos Paket“ gebucht hat.

everything was great, my only complaint would be that, I booked the car well in advance, hoping to get what we had last year, or similar size, which was the Defender---we got a mid size range rover, and it was plenty tight compared to the Defender. I looked around the lot, and there wasn't anything that large. Other than that, the staff we're extremely polite and easy going---love National!
