An amazing outfit with experienced and enthusiastic guides, a wide array of program choices and tailored tours of the beautiful islands near Dubrovnik. Plus points: beautiful bays, inlets, caves, beaches. Cliff jumping, snorkelling amidst some of the clearest, cleanest waters in the world. Minus points: Some accommodation choices suboptimal with poor maintenance, numerous mosquitoes. I heartily endorse anyone with a sense of adventure and discovery to take a kayak tour. Hopefully as we emerge into a post pandemic world the shortcomings can be bettered. Ivan and Ivor were two of the best kayak guides I’ve had the pleasure to meet. We had problems with the company owner which OARS took some time to resolve. Fortunately the others in the group lodged similar complaints and the matter was eventually resolved. Still it added a big dampener to the otherwise good experience. 6 stars to the guides, 2 stars to the accommodations. Minus 2 stars for the poor showing of the company owner/administrator, A 2 star average.

We wanted to start our kayak tour where we were staying in Zaton, and luckily we found Adriatic Kayak Tours. Ivan (Piper) was so accommodating to a group of slightly nervous beginners (age range 13-57), and we all headed off together out of the bay, loving seeing it from the water. We lucked out - Ivan is funny, confident, very very qualified, and kind. We were the only kayaks in the water from Zaton, which we really loved, made you feel like you were doing something different. We visited the bay cave (some of us didn’t quite spot them), then paddled to a beach for a cooling dip and snorkel. 4 hours was enough for us, but if you are more experienced I can see that Adriatic Kayak Tours could put together an amazing longer multi day trip for you. Thanks Ivan. We’ll see you for skiing in Italy next spring!

We spent a day kayaking around Lopud Island with Ivan. The scenery was gorgeous and Ivan was a fantastic guide - very helpful and with lots of interesting stories about the area. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

We had an amazing experience with Ivan, hiring kayaks for 3 days to self tour around the Croatian islands. Ivan helped us do some mapping & finding spots to stay and visit along the way. His experience and equipment was all amazing and we had no problems at all. Thank you!
