All I did was cry seeing the elephant lonely and in a small enclosure. There are places the elephant can go to be in a true sanctuary (in France, e.g.) and seeing this large beautiful animal pacing back and forth clearly sad and lonely was beyond tragic. I can’t believe I paid to support such a place.

Nice park, clean and well maintained, despite of the dark history of the island. Don’t forget to check on the bar at the end of the park and the Dino-park where you will find real Dino tracks.

Brioni Safari Park, Veliki Brijuni szigetén található ami a turizmus számára nyitott sziget, elektromos kisvonattal lehet végigjárni a főbb látnivalókat. A Safari Parkot az 1950-es évektől alakították ki, 10 hektáros területén Afrika, Amerikai, Ázsiai egzotikus állatok élnek, struccok, elefántok, lámák, tevék, zebrák, kecskék, juhok.

Ich habe mich bewusst entschieden, den Safari-Park auf Brijuni nicht zu besuchen, weil ich es nicht gut finde, dass hier mit exotischen Tieren in fragwürdiger Haltung Geld verdient wird. Die Tiere werden als Touristenattraktion auf begrenztem Raum gehalten, was gerade bei großen und sozialen Tieren wie Elefanten und Zebras nicht artgerecht ist. Es wird oft mit der Geschichte um Tito argumentiert, doch diese Vergangenheit rechtfertigt nicht, Tiere heute weiterhin in Gefangenschaft zu halten. Statt Natur- und Artenschutz zu fördern, wird hier ein veraltetes Konzept aufrechterhalten, um Besucher anzulocken. Für mich kein Grund, diesen Teil der Insel zu besuchen oder zu empfehlen.

Fajne miejsce dla rodzin z dziećmi, jest co pozwiedzać. Warto wypożyczyć melexa albo rower i zwiedzić wyspę. Dzieciaki znajdą ślady dinozaurów, starożytne ruiny i można posnurkować.

Lipa priroda sa jako puno zelenila i stabala ,jako je uredno i čisto ,ali defitivno oni tužni pogled jedine slonice sve govori,bolje ne imat tu jednu slonicu kad već nema drugog slona, izgleda jako tužna s razlogom jer je sama !Zašto niste pokušali dovest nekog slona ?
